Want to know a cool pizza place in Cebu? It’s time to check out the Wine Shop located near the Golden Peak Hotel and the Kia Dealership. My Japanese friend recommended this really nice pizza restaurant located in Cebu. It is a restaurant during the day, but turns into a bar at night. We arrived at the restaurant around 9PM. We went into the non-smoking area and there was latin music playing. There were about 5 tables in the non-smoking area we were in. The place had a really good ambiance to it.

The owner of the restaurant, who is from Spain, greeted us when we sat down. He looked a bit older I’d say in his late 40’s early 50’s. He mentioned that the area we were sitting in was hot and pointed to the air conditioner. A couple minutes later one of the staff in the restaurant went to turn on the AC. In terms of atmosphere, this place gave off a good vibe. Maybe it’s because the owner is from Spain and knows how to set up a good restaurant. The staff was very attentive to us during the time I was there.

I was actually starving. I’m getting over a cold and I know I probably shouldn’t have eaten pizza, but I just had that appetite. I had the choice of four different styles of pizza and I chose the Toledo. The main reason I chose it was because it was a Spanish style pizza. It came with onions, cut asparagus, manchega and mozzarella cheese. The price for this dish was 320 pesos. “I’m willing to pay a little extra if it’s good” I thought to myself.

While we were waiting on the food, we listened to a cover band singing tunes. The place was really lively and the people there were dancing and having fun. I ordered canned pineapple juice (65 pesos) and nearly finished it by the time my food arrived. The pizza took around 20 minutes to arrive, but was well worth the wait. It was hot like it had just come out of the oven. The ingredients were fresh and the cheese was gooey, drippy, and stringy. The crust had a slight burnt to it so it was bit crunchy. But with all the other ingredients it tasted very delicious. I think the sauce and the cheese gave the pizza its great taste. This is definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in the Philippines. I finished the entire pizza by myself! Also, my Japanese friend paid for my meal. Not a bad day since I had two meals paid for by friends!

The menu also features tapas and paella. The paella costs 495 for two people and has to be ordered one-day advance. I wonder why does it have to be ordered one day in advance? Maybe it has something to do with the ingredients or something. Anyways, I would recommend checking out this place for some really good pizza in Cebu. If you are not into live music, I would recommend coming to the restaurant in the afternoon.

Pick Up Artist are generally viewed in a negative light. One PUA who courts this controversy is Roosh, who expresses his strong opinions on his blog. Roosh is a PUA who gained popularity after writing about the D.C. dating scene. Now he has moved on to South America to continue his adventures. We got to chat with Roosh.

Basic Questions
1) How did you get into pickup?

I was reading a business forum in 2001 when someone randomly posted a link to Tony’s Layguide. As I was not getting laid, I studied the guide for a couple months then tried out some of the techniques. They worked and I just kept going.

2) What is your dating philosophy?

No matter what stage of the game you are at right now or how ugly you are there is a girl out there that will fuck you and the only way to find her is to keep approaching until you succeed. The mere act of approaching is the most important thing a guy can do.

3) How did you get good at dating to become an authority on it?

I’m sure there are tons of guys who are better than me, but my skill comes in explaining it in a clear way that other guys can understand and apply it to their own lives. Everyone knows a natural who bangs tons of women but who has retarded advice like “Be yourself” or “Smile.” He can never be an authority because he has no clue what works and what doesn’t. On the other hand I feel like I know what will help the average guy.

4)What do you think guys greatest mistake with women is?

They’re too needy. You can see it in their eyes when they’re talking to a girl—it’s like everything collapses in the background and the sole reason for his existence is to give this new girl his undivided attention. This goes hand-in-hand with confidence issues because a guy who thinks he doesn’t deserve a hot girl will wet his pants if he just finds himself in a conversation with one. He sinks her claws in her and of course it turns her off. I think a lot of guys can be served well by adopting an aloof and indifferent mindset.

5) In your experience, what is the best place to find a quality girlfriend?

It depends on the guy and what he wants. If quality to me is a Latin girl who loves to dance then I’d hit the salsa clubs. If I want a girl-next-door bookworm then the coffee shop. If I want a vapid, hot girl then I’d go to the club. A guy needs to find out what he wants and then figure out the place that has it. There is no magic place that has a neverending supply of quality.

6) What are some ways to enlarge your social circle?

Be cool. Do you think a cool guy has to think about ways to expand his social circle? No because other people are trying to hang out with him, calling him on Saturday afternoon trying to figure out his plans. The better question is how can you be an interesting person to both guys and girls so that they want to hang out with you.

7) What was your life like when you weren’t good with women? What is it like now?

I played computer games (Warcraft, Starcraft) and poker with other guys who also sucked with women. It was a vicious cycle: hanging out with guys who were just as bad as I was, our skill never improving. I still believed that one day I’d get lucky and meet a hot girl who would find my lack of confidence, self-esteem, and conversational ability endearing. I also believed that being friends with a girl first was the best way to have sex with her. It never worked. Whereas then it was a huge deal to have an interaction with a pretty girl, it’s less significant now. I work on many girls at the same time and always have options. If one girl is acting flakey then it’s no big deal because there are others I can get with.

8 ) What is one of your favorite techniques/tactics?

Breaking up with her. In the course of our first conversation there is going to be something that highlights one of our differences (e.g. she likes dogs and I like cats). Then I tell her that while we had some good times, I can’t continue the relationship and it’s best if we go our separate ways (while holding her hand or touching her in some way). I’m in Colombia now and I made sure to translate this little routine into Spanish.

9) Do you use props? If so, what gets the most reactions?

I don’t use props, but I think my beard and mop-like haircut is a prop in itself.

10) What is your biggest sticking point?

Sometimes there is a girl I want to talk to but I tap into my experience and determine that, based on my previous approaches in this type of situation, the interaction will not go well and I should just save my energy by not doing anything. In effect I feel like I can predict the future, but of course no one can and I probably cost myself quite a bit by pretending I know how things would turn out. I make things harder on myself by overthinking.

11) What pick up artist has inspired you the most? What did you learn from them?

I would say David D’Angelo. His “cocky and funny” concept was very easy to understand and implement, and did the most to help me understand how attraction works. I’ve toned down the cocky quite a bit and found that humor alone is just as potent assuming you are confident. If not then you will come across as silly or goofy.

12) Describe the moment when your realized you need to work on this part of your life.

It was my last year in college and I asked a girl out to the movies, but she said she was busy. Two weeks later I saw her on campus holding hands with another guy and I realized that I had to make some changes if I wanted to get the girls I wanted.

13) What advice do you give to newbies starting out?

Hit the gym. It’s the most reliable way to improve a guy’s confidence, and he’s going to need every bit he can when it’s time to walk up to girls.

14) In your experience, what is the biggest issue for guys getting attraction from women?

Just being normal. Lot of guys are studying all these lines and routines and it comes across as weird and sometimes creepy. If you observe naturals, they’re having a normal conversation with just a few jokes or cocky bits thrown in, but not everything they’re saying is game. Being a normal, confident guy who can have a laugh is usually all you need to get laid with cute girls.

15) What are you goals for the community? Your life?

When it comes to the community I think guys need to be careful about who they idolize. Because no one guy is going to have the answers (including myself), they should pick and choose the advice that fits their personality or lifestyle best. I understand this is a big business now but guys should be skeptical of everyone. I’m at the stage of my life where I have a lot of experiences that I can share, and that I know helps others. I like passing wisdom I’ve learned.

Specialized Questions

1) Why did you choose to come to South America?

It came down to money and language. The two other parts of the world that I was interested in was Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, but I really loved how in South American I only needed to know two languages to get by. Plus I like women with darker, tanned features and curvy bodies, which South America has.

2) What’s the difference between sarging in North America and South America?

The logistics are about five times easier in N. America. Girls have their own apartments. They like to drink (a lot). They don’t have to be home by a certain hour. They don’t hang out in huge groups. They aren’t strict Catholics. And most importantly, they speak the same language as you do. I think a lot of guys have the view that getting laid while traveling is easier, but that’s only the case if you have a lot of trouble getting laid in your own country. If you think you’re going to visit a new city every few days and get laid in each one, you will be sorely disapointed. You’re going to need your own cell phone, you’re going to need time to find places that have the girls, and you’re going to need your own place (or at least know where there is a love motel). Otherwise you’ll be counting on luck quite a bit.

I’m still surprised that being a gringo hurts more than it helps. The quality girls that you want are not looking for some one night fling with a guy she can barely communicate with. She wants that connection too. If you don’t want to dip into the dregs with the poor girls, you’ll have to work quite hard for quality. That includes studying the local language and building roots in one city for an extended period of time.

3) What country do you like best and why? What about women-wise?

My favorite country is Brazil. The country itself doesn’t is an oddball in S. America because it’s so much more colorful and exciting than all the other countries (and dangerous too, unfortunately). It’s a happy place to be in, and while it’s the most expensive country in S. America I think it’s worth it. The women are extremely sensual. They know how to dress and walk, and most importantly of all, please a man. Once you go Brazilian, you don’t go back. And yes, they like gringos.

4) Can you relate a success story about one of your clients?

When I was in the States I was teaching a day game workshop every weekend. I had two students at a time and one of my students was attending a small college. He had practically no approach experience. I ran the lecture and then we went out to various venues like the coffee shop, clothing store, and eventually the street. Now the street is the hardest place to pick up a girl, but there he picked up a very cute girl using the material I taught him. I hear from him every few weeks and he tells me how much progress he’s making. I want to take all the credit, but of course I know that a lot of guys simply need a nudge in the right direction. He’s doing things now that I didn’t teach him and that’s because his early successes keeps pushing him to approach and continue. In only one year I know he’s going to be very good.

5) Why did you choose the name Roosh?

Roosh is my nickname that I’ve had since high school. I probably should have thought harder about using it online because girls google “roosh” often and my blog is the first result. It gets me into trouble all the time.

6) What are your fundamental teachings?

Approach indirectly in large numbers to aquire the experience needed to know how to talk to a girl and make her laugh. Learn the little tricks that take the interaction from one stage to the next. Don’t worry about quality until you get a solid grasp of how the game works.

7) How do you differ from other dating coaches?

I think I’m less of a sell out. I put out a quality book at a low price and genuinely want to help guys. Even my workshop was so cheap that a bunch of my students said I should charge more. Others have helped me when I was coming up and I want to return the favor. I’d do it for free if I had a trust fund or lottery winnings.

8 ) Your known as a misogynist / sexist pig in the community. How do you respond to that?

I think it’s disingenuous to say you love women but want to have sex with a lot of them. It’s a fact that the less you value women, the more you see them as worthless whores, the more of them you will have sex with. I’ve simply adopted the right mindset for my goals. Guys who think women are flawless princesses will not get many bangs out of the game.

9) You’re a well-known blogger (enough to get a parody site). What can you tell us about blogging and your blog?

I’ve had a blog in one form of another since college but things really took off when I focused on the Washington DC area and blogged almost exclusively about girls and nightlife. Gradually the audience grew to where I was making enough money from advertising and book sales to quit my job. I don’t make nearly as much as when I worked, but it’s enough to live in a third-world country such as Colombia or Argentina. My current blog is going on its fifth year, and while it doesn’t bring me as much joy as it used to (at times it feels like a job), I still have a lot of things that I want to share. I may blog less in the future but I don’t think I’ll stop it completely.

10) Tell me about your products.

Right now I only have my book Bang. I wrote it when I felt confident enough about the level of my game that my knowledge would be worth paying for. It has five chapters: Internal Game, Early Game, Middle Game, Late Game, and End Game, and describes step-by-step what you need to do to from the appraoch to sealing the deal. I even talk about the order you should remove a girl’s clothes in bed, something that I haven’t seen other guys do.

11) What are your plans for the future?

I’m working on a memoir now about my previous trip to South America which I hope to be done with by fall of 2009. After that I start work on a day game book, and I have other ideas for books in the future. I think book writing is what I will be focusing my time on for the next couple years, until I get into straight-up pimping.

This was sent in by a reader who remains anonymous. My answers are italicized in blue.

hey, i just graduated from college and was planning on going to central or south america to learn spanish for a year. I’m really drawn to buenos aires for the girls, but i’ve heard that colombian girls are pretty too. can you tell if a certain pu approach worked better in argentina than in colombia?

any experiences in cordoba? i hear its a huge university town.

Hey. I’d say between the two the Colombian girls are more exotic than the Buenos Aires girls, but BA has a better nightlife. Also, the Spanish in Colombia is a bit easier to understand. Have you looked into Peru? The girls there aren’t bad either.

I’d say that running the standard Mystery Method M 3 model works in those two countries. But, you need to call out for flakes in Colombia. I heard the girls in Argentina were flakes on text, but I didn’t see that. I would have liked more time in Argentina to look into that.

Yes, Cordoba is a really nice town. I only spent two days there, but I saw lots of hot girls. The town is good for gaming too lots of bars, coffee shops, etc. I was really drawn to Cordoba. I definitely recommend taking a look there.

.
Are you more about the nightlife or the women? If you are just looking for hot exotic women, then check out Colombia or Lima, Peru. But, if you like nightlife and pretty cute girls, then check out BA.
.

Hey, thanks for the email. i appreciate the time you’re taking out to help other puas. i like the “european” qualities of the argentine girls, but colombian women look hot too. i’m not sure if i like the “indigenous” looking types of women. but then again, i’m not completely sure of if my perception of the women in various southern american countries are accurate either. i am more interested in the applicability of the mystery method or CF rather than the hotness of the girls. then again, i’m also trying to learn spanish for a year at a university in those countries so the peru and colombia accent would be much better for me. and since i’ll be a student, liveability of lima, medellin/bogota over BA or Cordoba is also a factor. if you had to game in one country and had to consider in those above factors, where would YOU game/live/study for a year? i’m assuming the order of expensiveness of the cities would be Argentina > Peru > Colombia in that order?
were you running mystery method in spanish or in english? would your initial approach be in english to give off the exotic factor? or do you speak enough spanish to open in spanish?

again, thanks for the advice. very interesting site.

That’s a tough question! Mystery method works very well in Lima, Peru. You need to look into Universities in Miraflores. That is the nicest area in Lima and where the good gaming locations are. Peruvians have the easiest Spanish to understand, too. The women there are so friendly, too. It is pretty cheap there definitely cheaper than Argentina and around the same as Colombia.

I ran Mystery Method in Spanish, but I would tell them I was visiting from the States to give off the exotic factor. I have some material in Spanish like the strawberry fields I can send you.

.
No problem if you have anymore questions let me know. You won’t be dissapointed in Lima.

We head to the venue of the night… I arrive with some wings from the Lair… Tonight I was working on coaching my other wing in set and also my transitioning/qualification game…
Set 1

I got blown out. I opened two HB8′s with the Drunk I love You’s Opener, but I missed my false time constraint! They told me we gotta go before I even got into my opener! Ouch… Ying and Yang energy I must remain non reactive…

Set 2

Opened a 3 set with a default opener.. This time I threw in the FTC and transitioned with “Lemme guess your the good girl and your the bad girl…” Bad girl referring to my target… Then, I tell them “You can be my devil (target) and you can be my angel (obstacle)… (Love Systems Transition)Then, we can walk hand in hand…

I ended up isolating my target away from the friends for a bit… She didn’t really meet what I was looking for in qualification so I ejected the set…

Highlighted Sets

HB Pot Girl
Opened with the bar opener… “When a guy and a girl are at the bar at the same time, who should get waited on first the guy or the girl??” She starts talking… From there, she invites me to go to a party on Sunday with her friend… She talked about how she’s a pot girl hmm… lol…

My wing came in DHV’ed him he DHV’ed me then left…. Moved her over to the other side of the VIP area. Cold read, Qualify… Timebridge/number close… Said our good bye’s….

HB Venezuelan Girl

Saw this HB who I had known before from Social Circle… Started talking to her then did a bounce over to the VIP area… Went into A3 with qualification about where she has traveled then I started speaking to her in Spanish… She knew a lil, but I teased her a bit for not being able to keep up

From there, did a lil bit of kino then number closed future timebridge…

Debrief…

Ran some more sets none were worth mentioning, but debriefed with new Lair members at the end of the night…

Pool Game

We head to a big pool party in town… Pools are fun because they are a GREAT place to game (Hot Girls) plus the girls are in bikinis haha!!

I open a two set sitting down…
ME: “Hey ur tattoo looks pretty interesting! R u into music??” (She had a music design on the tat)
Her: Yeah…
Me: Transitioned about how they knew each other bad girl/good girl routine…

We had a cooler full of beers and I asked if they could watch it while we went around the pool area…. I made sure to talk to all the people I knew there including my friend who was Dj’ing the pool party…

Highlighted Sets

HB Flower Tattoo

Opened this HB with a flower tattoo who knew my friend… She was pretty interesting mainly for her artistic approach she was an interior designer who wanted to set up hotels for dogs… Her fav dog was a some kind of hunting dog with green eyes… Nonetheless, interesting set and we ended up talking for some time… Made sure to throw in my DHV spikes and kino some also ran the rings routine for more kino buildup…

Timebridged her for later tnite…

HB Towel Girl…

I sat down on a chair and this girl had a towel with her name on it…

ME: “Oh did you go to a special place to get your name imprinted on your towel?”
Her: “Yes, actually my Aunt has a shop in LA and she does it…”

We ended up talking about LA and I told her how I have some friends out there… Did some cold reads on her and then got distracted by my other friends and she had to go… Good set, though her bf was right next to us lol!

Thoughts

Pool game is lots of fun… Didn’t realize how many girls had tats!!! Easy to open during the day and most the sets were hooking…

In Club game, don’t forget to utilize your areas! For example, VIP sections to bring your targets too… It also helps knowing ppl in the venues…

So long…

So you took 3 years of Spanish in school, come to South America and realize that everything you learned if useless…actually…who am I kidding? You’ve kept meaning to crack open that Spanish book or watch those lessons but CSI:Anchorage, Alaska is on! And now you’re in South America and the most you can do is say a few curse words and “No comprede Espanol.” How are you ever going to meet girls? Fear not Puta! I’m going to show you!

I’ve spent the last 5 months in South America and not being able to communicate sucks. I can use non verbals and body language to get the chick laughing but anything else is painful. If you know how to constantly close girls who don’t speak the same language (without paying) then please write an eBook. I’ll PayPal you the cash right now.

These are the best places to find English speakers:

More educated areas:

Be sure to sarge richer areas and around colleges. Richer people tend to be more educated thus more likely to speak English. Colleges are your best bet to find people who speak English. Remember to speak slowly and clearly. These guys may be self conscious about speaking English.

Also, be sure to bring a cheat sheet with you. Have English sentences written down with their Spanish translation. That may the conversation can go on and you guys can stare at the paper if things start getting uncomfortable.

Hostels:

Hostels are great places to meet people in general. You got travelers like yourself from all around the world. The only problem is that sometimes you won’t find locals (“If I wanted to fuck Americans, then I would have stayed in America!”). Find a hostel that’s located near a bar. Chances are the bar has tons of foreigners and local girls looking to hook up with a gringo.

And that’s about it. By far the best place to find English speakers is the Internet! This can take a lot of work and I recommend bugging LatinStylez to finally write about his online method. Or get David M’s Inside Internet Dating for help.

Here’s a list of sites you can try.

Dating Sites:

There’s a million and one dating sites. I looked into the free ones. The problem with most of these dating sites is that you won’t find too many people on them. They’re mostly geared towards people in the US.

OkCupid

PlentyofFish

Parperfeito – This is a South America dating site with a focus on Brazil.

Social Networks:

Hi5 – It seems like people in Argentina and Peru tend to use this place more.

Facebook – Be careful with Facebook. While you can be in two different networks, you can only switch networks twice every 60 days. Search for your city name and join the group. Then you can mass text message girls.

Orkut – Instead of facebook, most people in Brazil use Orkut.

Couchsurfing – Not only can Couch Surfing save you money on hostels but it’s a great place to meet people. Do a search for girls who want to meet up for coffee. However, you may not want to approach couch surfing like traditional internet dating. If you make any mistakes then people can leave you shitty feedback. Instead look to any social events that Couch Surfers in your area are throwing and sarge there.

Language Exchange:

“Where are you going?”

“I’m going to do language exchange with a college girl.”

“Does language exchange mean she’s going to suck your dick?”

This was an exchange I got into with a female friend of mine. And it’s basically true in a lot of countries I been too. I had met a girl in Peru and her online profile said she was looking to meet English speakers. I met her, did my thing, and got a kiss close (No dick sucking though )

The problem with these sites is that often you can’t search by city.

My Happy Planet

Live Mocha

"Me Fail English? That's Unpossible."

Seriously Asshole (Ben Day Ho). Learn some Spanish. It’ll save you time and prevent headaches. You can even use the language exchange sites for legitimate purposes.I’m much more handsome, charming, and have a larger penis than LatinStylez, yet he closed more girls than me. Why? Cuz his ass speaks Spanish.

Use google, go to the library, anything!

Oh yeah. The top two places I found English speakers are:

1) Buenos Aires, Argentina

2) Florianopolis, Brasil

This sarge was a roller coaster ride. There were several lows, lots of highs, and then one deep
drop.

It all started on Sunday night. Me, Lumy, Cali, LatinStylez were out at a bar. I opened a 3 set of girls (HBtheLeader, HBbrownhair, and HBtheotherchick). HBLeader looked at me and said she didn’t understand. Things went better when everybody else (who spoke Spanish) started talking to the set.

Stylez picks Brown Hair and Lumy talks to Theotherchick because she’s closest to him. I looked
at Leader, and told Cali to talk to her. At this point I was frustrated with my lack of Spanish and didn’t want to proceed further. Anyhoot, Cali sits down next to Leader and they chat. Leader if messing with her hair and kinoing Cali. Cali then tells me that she understands English but I had to speak slower. So I start speaking obnoxiously slow to her. She gets pissed and Lumy tells me that Cocky Funny doesn’t work too well with Colombian women.

The next day, LS got a call from his girl. Brownhair and Leader wanted to see LS and Cali. Unfortunately, Cali was already out on a date. So LS asked me to go out and wing with him.

Hmmm….let me think about it…HELL FUCK SHIT NO!!

You see, Latin Stylez and I have certain rules and regulations that we play by. One of the first
rules of Wingmanship is YOU DO NOT SARGE YOUR WINGS TARGET! I didn’t even want to go. What was I going to do? Built up Cali for a few hours? On the other hand, LS needed a wing. So I called up Cali to see if it was cool. He gave the ok and so I ready myself by getting my Spanish phrase book, my little notepad, and a pen. Also, I was ready to speak as slow as I needed.

We meet the girls. Leader is driving her car and I can see she’s disappointed because Cali isn’t there.

On the way to the venue, Leader gives me the lowdown and says she though I was an asshole. Time to diffuse this! So I tell her that I grew up with my sister and a bunch of female cousins. That in our household we tease each other to show affection. I apologized profusely and asked if we could start over. She forgives me.

We arrive at the venue and order drinks. I open up the phrase book and start asking her a few questions. Then I run a few attraction routines and tease her. RING RING! It’s Cali! And he’s close by and wants to meet us with his internet date. This is starting to look like even more of an uphill battle.

To explain, Cali is a natural. He has had many relationships and isn’t aware exactly what he’s doing to do this. He thought that bringing his date over would be harmless. “If I saw a girl I was talking to with another guy then I would drop her,” he would later explain to me. That way may work fine and dandy for him but it would fuck my sarge all up.

The scenario in my mind was this, Leader originally wanted to see Cali. I was his replacement. Cali would show up with his date. Leader would be like, “What’s he doing with her?” and feel jealous. That jealousy would offer an emotional connection to Cali thus making him more desirable. Classic jealousy plot line. It would also make my already uphill climb even harder.

LatinStylez said that it would be kind of rude not to invite him. Yeah, I suppose he has a point
and if anything this would be a great learning experience.

I keep talking to Leader but I see her eyes flicker to the street every once in a while. What’s so goddamn interesting? oh…

Cali appears and his date…OH MY GOD!!! She was one the hottest girls I had ever seen! Blonde and busty with a killer ass, this girl was no joke. Leader’s eyes betrayed what she felt. Later I was told that LatinStylez girl was hating on HBHOLYTITTYFUCKINGSHIT! Afterwards, asking Cali:

“What school does she go to?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, it’s really important what school you go to!”

Cali told me that Leader wouldn’t even make eye contact with him.

Some call us Pick Up Artist. It’s a term that I’m not comfortable with because I’ve seen true PUAs who made my jaw drop. “How the hell did he do that?” Another term for us are Venuasian Artist. This is a term I prefer because like martial Artist we prepare for every contigency in a social setting. It was time to put thousands of dollars in seminars and bootcamps, years of reading, listening, watching, and sarging to the test.

First I turned Leader towards me so she would have a harder time seeing Cali and HBOHFUCKIMSPURTINGRIGHTNOW! Then I busted out the chick crack and ran The Cube. I took out my notepad and started drawing her answering, being sure to say “Cool” and “I like that” and joking around when appropriate. When the test was over, I saw Cali get up and go to the bathroom. Perfect chance for a take away. I swirl around to HB(.)(.) and start joking around with her, making sure to built up Cali like a good wingman. Then start talking to LS waiting for Leader to ask what the test meant.

She took the bait and was eager to find out. I told her the results being sure to kino her to show I liked the answers. During the “Ideal Lover” part, I was sure to gesture to myself. She was laughing and smiling. After the test, was a great time to find out more about her. She told me about how she likes to travel. I made sure to look deeply into her eyes and touch her face when I liked the answers.

Next I went into my Hero Story. I told her about how my family was never the huggy type and how I was never very close to my dad. After college, I was going to go and live in another country. I had to tell my dad that I loved him. Whenever I tell this story I get a bit teary eyed but make no mistake, showing your vulnerable side is very attractive to women.

When I was finished, she was giving me the doggy dinner bowl look. We talked a bit more and LatinStylez and I decided we needed to bounce to a different venue.

The bill came and LS had told me before that Colombian girls expect you to pay for them. I
wanted to play around with this and see if I could get them to pay for there share of the bill. I told Leader that I knew we were in Colombia but in America we pay for our own shit.

And that’s when it all went to shit.

Leader got upset and she didn’t want to pay the bill. LS backed me up and said that’s what we did in America. There was a giant flurry of Spanish. And then Leader RAN away from me and got behind Cali. I heard some more Spanish. Then Leader and BrownHair ran into the restaurant.

What the fuck? Cali, LS and I ended up paying for the bill then bouncing.

I know that this story sounds like a goddamn mess but to be honest, I’ve never had such a fun sarge in my life. It was exhilarating to get this girl who originally thought I was a douse bag into me, then to get her attention away from Cali and onto me and to push the envelope about what was socially acceptable here.

Later on the phone, Redpoleq passed down some sage knowledge to this young G. Coming out with that at the end ofthe night was too sudden. I need to difuse this much much earlier in the sarge. That’s why LS’s girl was cool but why mine went nutso. I have violated her expectations.

The frame that I wanted to set was that this is an equal equal relationship. And one way to frame it is this:

“A lot of my female friends tell me when guys pay for everything, it makes them feel like they
owe them. I use to think that paying for girls was good. But they told me it was like prostitution. Did you ever have a guy pay for you and you felt pressured to do something?”

Then you could say:

“I don’t mind being used. If you want to pay for me then it just might work.”

It’s a rough draft that I’ll have to refine as I get a better feel for these Colombian girls.

Will Bolo spend all his money just to watch more girls run away from him? Or will he be able to
break these social constraints? Stay tuned!

After an 11 hour bus ride from Medellin, we arrived in the capital city- Bogota, Colombia. Let me tell you the bus ride almost made me sick. You go up the mountains and the roads are very windy. However, the landscape is incredibly beautiful. I can honestly say it is the best scenery I have ever seen in my life. Once we were in Bogota, it reminded me of a large industrial city. It was also a lot colder than Medellin. On a plus note, there are more English speakers here, and better venue varieties. The area we went to last night was awesome in La Candelaria, Bogota. This is a cool area plenty of awesome bars and food places. Check out the pics. Also, an LR to come I have to finish writing it.

Here comes the question people have been wondering. Should you speak Spanish in South America? I’m going to be blunt here and tell you yes. First, I haven’t met many girls here in Medellin who have spoken English. The whole time I have been running everything in Spanish. And actually, when some of the girls I have sarged write in English I just want to tell them to stop. Literally, I couldn’t read her sentences I just switched back to Spanish. This mainly focuses on Colombia and Venezuela for knowing Spanish. I talked to a guy in Brazil and in Argentina and it is toss ups there for knowing English. It’s interesting because you take a country like South Korea which Korean is so vastly different from English and they can comprehend English pretty well.

What are the benefits of running your sets in Spanish? You won’t sit there looking at each other just smiling, you won’t have to ask your Latino American friend to translate every time for you (me), and you won’t have trouble escalating because you know your routines in Spanish and there’s no need to hesitate.

But, what if I have a bad Spanish accent or I mix up words? Not a big deal trust me. The people here are always willing to help someone out with their Spanish. Then, you have to ask yourself do you want the quality girls? Well, I’m telling you this that the quality girls probably don’t know any English. I mean why would they? They don’t have a reason to all the Latin guys are taking good care of them.

Latin, I don’t know any Spanish should I still come to South America? Sure, come down to South America. I highly recommend going to a Spanish school and dedicating yourself to learn the language. If you don’t want to go to a school, then check out exchanges. Basically, you teach them English and they teach you Spanish. The key here though is to make an effort to learn the language.

Let’s say in countries like Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile have some people who can speak English- there still will be people who do not speak English including HB’s. I mean why bother speaking English with them when you can work on your Spanish skills. You will be speaking to them in their native tongue which I’m sure they will enjoy more, and let’s be real Spanish is a romantic language
