1) How did you get into pickup?

Like most people, it starting with “The Game” by Neil Strauss. My Dad actually bought the book home after hearing about it on the radio. After I read it I convinced most of my friends to read it. My journey started there…

2) What is your dating philosophy?

Destroy young girls lives. But seriously, I’m all about variety. I only date women from other nationalities or ethnicities (non-exclusively of course). I’m very honest with girls about my lifestyle; most of them have no problem with my non-commitment. I travel too much. I’m of the opinion they’re lucky to catch me while I’m around.

3) How did you get good at dating to become an authority on it?

Mistakes. I made a lot of mistakes. I tried everything. I spent so much time trying to emulate the gurus in the community, but it wasn’t until I developed my own style, one which I felt congruent with, did I start to see a big difference; the quantity and quality improved.

I’m no pick up guru; I’m just a specialist in exotic women. Each country is like a code waiting to be cracked. I found western game often faltered with linguistic and cultural barriers and I wanted to break past that. Over the years I had to develop new techniques to cater for different scenarios in other countries. Some shit worked, some didn’t. A lot of the stuff I was trying didn’t exist in the pick-up lexicon – things like shoring, pipelining and crunching (see blog). These were thing that sky-rocketed my flag count. Before I knew it, all my friends were using my techniques to pick up when they travelled. I was part of a new frontier – pick-up for the vagabond. I started the Naughty Nomad blog and viola.

4) What do you think guys greatest mistake with women is?

No cajones. The number one reason why most guys aren’t successful with women is the fact they never go up and talk to them in the first place. Approach Anxiety will forever be man’s downfall. Furthermore, a narrow mind. You’d be surprised the amount of men who simply refuse to read books like “The Game” on ‘principal’. Guys like us who are willing to educate themselves on social dynamics, will forever have the advantage.

5) In your experience, what is the best place to find a quality girlfriend?

I guess it depends on your values. If were talking about aesthetic quality, I’d say Eastern Europe. If were talking about quality characteristics, I’d go for Asian or African woman. It’s hard to come up with a generic answer.

6) What are some ways to enlarge your social circle?

Befriend more women. It took me a while to develop healthy platonic relationships. Other ideas? Start a band. Take up new sports. Join societies in college. Learn to Dance. Learn a language. Do a course. Go out more and travel. Try something new. Have a fucking life.

7) What was your life like when you weren’t good with women? What is it like now?

Frustrating and lonely. I used to get depressed and craved intimacy. I had zero confidence. I used to just stay indoors and get stoned with my mates.

What is it like now? Busy! But that’s not a bad complaint. I’m feeling pretty good these days, but sometimes you feel a little shallow and empty… I’ve hurt a lot of people. Life is about balance and I’m still trying to find it.

What is one of your favorite techniques/tactics?

Extreme peacocking. For those who don’t know, in September some friends and I spent 24 nights in a row travelling through the Balkans dressed as a Mexican Pirate. It was a blast.

I also tend to employ things like jealously plot-lines, anchoring and going caveman.

I’m pretty direct, but my opener is always the same “Where are you from?” Then I whip out some words in their language or some stories /knowledge from the country. It gets the ball rolling and it plays to my strengths.

9) Do you use props? If so, what gets the most reactions?

Sometimes. As mentioned, I peacock a lot. Mexican pirates get the best reactions. When I’m with my crew we buy kid’s party hats and put them on cute girls in the bar to anchor. Sometimes, I whip out my iPhone to do the work for me by showing girls some whopper pics, like my name tattooed on my crazy ex-girlfriend’s ass.

10) What is your biggest sticking point?

Approaching and transitioning – I don’t like to use canned material so I have to rely on situational openers or being direct. Sometimes, I go blank. For all my experience, Approach Anxiety still creeps in – especially when I’m sober! haha

11) What pick up artist has inspired you the most? What did you learn from them?

The Venusian Arts Handbook by Mystery is probably my core text. I’ve also used material from De Angelo, Jeffries, Style & Vin de Carlo. A lot of stuff I needed to learn was inner game based; you need to have the fundamentals. I found De Angelo provided the bones while the others provided the meat.

12) Describe the moment when you realized you need to work on this part of your life.

I was in my second year in college and I hit a 6 month dry patch. I swore to myself, never again.

13) What advice do you give to newbies starting out?

Find guys on the same wavelength. Get out there. Read everything, try everything, and make mistakes. Repeat. The key thing is stepping outside your comfort zone.

14) In your experience, what is the biggest issue for guys getting attraction from women?

They think too much or come across as too needy. Girls can pick up if you’re treating an interaction like a chess game. She’s not a playstation. You can’t copy and paste techniques and expect a certain response. Relax and have fun.

15) What are your goals for the community? Your life?

As for the community, I’m doing my part taking this game around the world. I’m happy to pave the way, but I’d like to see more guys like yourself writing about. There’s just not enough info. Personally, I want to visit every country in the world before I’m 35. Then I’ll pick a sexy foreign wife and have multi-racial, bi-lingual superkids.

When did you start your blog and what made you start it?

I started the blog in April of last year. I was living such a crazy life and I wanted share it with people. I also felt there was a serious lack of info for single guys looking to hook up in foreign countries. I wanted to help fill that void.

How did you get the name Naughty Nomad?

It literally just popped into my head one night in bed. The next day I bought the domain name.

You’re quite the traveler! What made you want to start traveling? How many countries have you been to?

I’ve been to 58 countries now, including Antarctica and a few self-proclaimed republics. It all started on my trip to Antarctica when I was 18. It was the best experience of my life. In was then I found my vocation – to vacation. Since I was a little kid I always dreamed about being an explorer. The trip rekindled that passion. Now I refuse to accept an alternative destiny, at least in the medium term.

What was the most interesting country you’ve traveled to and why?

Ethiopia. I could talk all day about it… the women, the culture, the history, the vibe… Let’s just say it’s a very special place for me. I’ll have to dedicate a whole post to it; I couldn’t do it justice in this space. Second place would have to be the Philippines – it’s a sexual playground.

What was a country that you disliked the most and why?

Egypt. It’s overrated, full of sleazy con-artists and the nightlife is shit. Egyptian men are generally scum and ruin the whole Egyptian experience. A close runner-up in Russia, the people there can be very dower, even downright hostile. For me, the people make or break a country.

I heard you’ve traveled to Africa can you tell me an interesting story from the time you were there?

Where oh where do I begin. A lot of crazy shit happened in Africa. We jumped the border to escape Sudan, smuggled a kilo of weed from Ethiopia over 7 borders and decided to travel in North Kivu, a war zone in Eastern Congo. Shit got scary, I can’t even begin to tell you what went on there… I got a lot of the stories on the blog if anyone wants to check it out…

You dressed up as a pirate with your buddies for one-week right? What was that experience like? Did you feel like it changed you in anyway?

Mexican Pirates, furthermore it was 24 nights in a row. That was in the Balkans, we also did the same thing for one week straight in Malta. It was the most fun I ever had in my life. It didn’t change me, it just got me laid a lot. It did wonders for my friends though. It certainly improved their confidence. Life is more fun in costume.

What does it mean to collect a flag? How many flags have you collected?

If you hook with a local from a foreign country, you get a flag. Guys who indulge in ‘flagging’ are called flaggers. Check out flagging headquarters for info. I’m not interested in notches, only flags. I’m 24, and I’ve gotten 32 flags so far.

You mentioned pipelining as important. Can you define what pipelining is and why it has been important to you? How can others benefit it?

I think the blog sums it up best.

“Pipelining” is a practice primarily employed by travellers wanting to meet potential sexual partners in a future destination. Meetings are typically arranged online through social networking and dating sites. The objective is to have potential mates already ‘in the pipeline’ prior to arrival in a certain location, thus vastly increasing the chances of a sexual encounter with a local. The terms ‘Pipelining’ and ‘online game’ can be used interchangeably.

Can you tell us an interesting travel story? Maybe something unexpected happened to you while you were traveling?

My passport got robbed in Cambodia and I ended up staying there for several weeks with a Khmer girl. It’s a long story but finishes with her tattooing my name on her ass. To take some recent happenings, I just got back I was just got back from the Dominican Republic and Haiti. My first night in DR I banged a Dominican super model and beauty queen. My last night in Haiti, I got robbed and laid in the same night. Good times. I recently posted both stories on the blog.

Where are you currently? What is your travel plans in the future?

As mentioned, I just got back for the Caribbean. Next month, I’m in Eastern Europe for a few days before jetting off to travel the whole of West Africa. It’s going to be fuckin’ crazy, I can’t wait!

Now what’s the first thing you think about when you see a hot girl? “Wow I’d love to fuck that,” is probably a popular thought. It’s probably my first thought – that’s for sure.

Sometimes pick-ups don’t always happen they way you plan them though. Sometimes your game is off. Or sometimes maybe she just isn’t in the mood and you THINK you did something wrong when you actually didn’t. It’s dilemmas like these that make picking up chicks confusing at times and seem to not make much sense.

Rather than trying to make sense of everything though (which I understand can be difficult being a man) you can still rebound from a failed pick-up with a hot chick by keeping in contact with her and doing a lot of other great things that do wonders for your social intuition and lead to more success in the future. Personally I have benefited more from feedback from my female friends and introductions through my social circles than any cold approach skill I have ever learned.

Am I saying you should take pick-up advice from women? Fuck no. That’s like asking me for relationship maintenance advice. Whenever you consider learning anything from anyone you should always ask yourself, “Is this person QUALIFIED to give me advice on this topic?” Most women have never spend a day in their life trying to pick up another woman so taking their advice on how to proactively do it makes about as much sense as going to a doctor without a college degree.

One way befriending women CAN benefit you though is by providing helpful feedback by correcting shit you’re definitely doing wrong. If your hair or clothing style is whack, a woman will tell you the truth about it. If you try to pick up a chick and fail, another chick can probably tell you how you fucked it up. If you get last minute resistance and explain the story to a chick she can probably explain how the other chick was feeling because she can relate. Women are terrible for giving pick-up advice but great for making corrections and providing feedback. Hope that makes sense.

Another way befriending women can benefit you is by providing access to their social networks! Women, by nature, are more social than men and probably have a lot more acquaintances than you do. Probably half of my lays or more are a direct result of being introduced through another woman with whom I am friends with. The reason female introductions are so powerful is because women can relate to each other better than men, therefore if a girl tells another girl that you’re cool she’s going to believe it A LOT more than if some guy says it.

Many of you are probably aware of the “power” hot women have in nightclubs. They have the CHOICE to either talk to guys or not to talk to guys and there’s nothing (legal) we can do to change that. We can’t MAKE anyone do anything, which is why attraction is so valuable. If we want to take a walk, we can take a walk. If we want to go get some fast food, we can get some fast food. If we want attraction from a woman, guess what it’s not as easy and THAT is why we value it so much and THAT is why women at nightclubs are so powerful.

Did you know that women are accepted as currency in more countries than Visa? Well, guess what having hot women at the club with you is: club currency (as I like to call it). If you see a guy at a nightclub with 10 women around him you will probably think he has more “status” than a guy at a club by himself or with a few of his guy friends. And the REASON we think that is because we can OBSERVE and UNDERSTAND more about him than anyone else without “social proof”. Check out my article on social proof for more info. The point is that befriending women can be the difference between you being “just another guy” at a social event that nobody pays attention to and being a rock star that everyone wants to meet.

Understanding this takes empathy. Imagine you are a hot girl. Some guy you barely know introduces his guy friend to you. What are you thinking? “These guys are probably friends and wingmen and this guy is probably trying to help his buddy get in my pants.” Now imagine if one of your girlfriends you’ve known for years introduces you to a guy. You’re going to think, “Wow my friend approves of this guy SO MUCH that she’s actually introducing him to me to make me happy.” Notice the difference.

NOW you need to develop the social intuition to know whether a hot girl is better off as your target or as your friend because BOTH are great opportunities and you don’t want to fuck up either of them. Obviously “fuck her” is going to be your first choice because that’s just how we men think. If you go TOO FAR though with the pick-up attempt she’ll probably never want to see you again afterward. At the SAME time if you get in the friend zone with her you probably aren’t ever getting out and MIGHT have fucked up your only chance to fuck her.

So how do you know?

The best way to know is to know whether or not you DEFINITELY have attraction and we are all familiar with the “games” women play which makes it seem fucking impossible to tell sometimes whether she is into you or not. The reason for that is simply because every woman is DIFFERENT therefore we can’t expect them to be as consistent and reliable as our guy friends are with our behavior. Women are full of complex emotions so trying to “herd” them all into one category with a logical solution is just shooting yourself in the foot.

What is the best way to know if you have attraction? Simple.

IS SHE FOLLOWING YOUR LEAD?

The more she follows your lead the more she is investing in the interaction and the more she is convincing herself to like you. Ever hear a woman say to anyone, “Why the fuck am I with this guy?” The answer is because she has INVESTED so much in him, it would be very discomforting to know that she invested in something that failed and for her it is actually EASIER to go along with her consistent behavior than to take a massive hit to her ego.

The more a woman will follow you, the more attraction you have. Did she actually follow you to the bar to get shots when you suggested it? Did she go with you to sit on a nearby couch? Did she give you her number? Did she agree to a date? Does she text back quickly or answer when you call? Did she actually meet you somewhere for a date? These are all questions you can ask yourself to KNOW how much she is REALLY into you.

I have had women not seem to like me AT ALL but they still followed my lead. We had no emotional connection or rapport whatsoever and I still took them home and got the lays.

On the flip side I have also had women seem TOTALLY into me and then flake on me or not come back to my place when I suggest it. Well guess what, she just wasn’t that into me.

By my experience, whether or not she “follows my lead” and how often she says “yes” to my requests has been the ONLY clean cut way to determine whether a woman has been into me or not and when you look back on YOUR past experiences you will probably notice it too and a light bulb will turn on in your head.

Isn’t it awesome when things make sense?

SO the choice is up to you. If she is following your lead, she is probably attracted to you on a romantic or sexual level and wants you to make some moves. If not then she is probably just not that into you and you can gain a lot of benefits from being her friend. Obviously there is more to the “game” than just making her follow you, such as how to generate attraction, how to date, and how to close the deal, but understanding whether or not she is following your lead is a great way to determine whether or not she is CURRENTLY attracted to you, and whether you decide to keep going for that attraction or to benefit from friendship.

First of all, I know I haven’t been posting on my progress of game lately. I recently have gone back to social circle… My reason was well I’m good at it and I like doing it… Don’t get me wrong I will be doing cold approach, however my primary focus now will be on getting my social circle much stronger…

Since going back, I have noticed how strong this method of game is.

#1- You are the one throwing the event, all eyes are on you… Talk about prizability here.

#2- Attraction triggers are automatically set. I love it because when I have my target and I want  to open another set in the social circle I can. Sets generally feel more attraction because you are around beautiful women.

#3- I’m having guys I know bring girls as well. So it’s not just me and a bunch of girls I know, I’m inviting out my wings and telling them to bring sets as well. This is working out for me because it enables new girls that are “gameable” and it increases my potential of meeting a good set. (Happened to me last night)

#4- It’s easy to create jealousy plotlines on girls you are targetting by simply talking to other girls in the social circle. This can create greater attraction for your target. More on this later, as I will be experimenting with jealousy plotlines in the coming months.

#5- It’s an engine. I think of social circle game as an engine. The reason is that this engine works by having  a constant supply of people. These people make it easier to open other sets around you. Not only that, but with these people you have your fair  share of women you can sarge.

These are just a few reasons why I have shifted back to social circle. Now, I will be posting some of my experiences with using this style of game and what is and isn’t working. Want to be the star at the club?

“If you start doing this every week I’ll pay you for it.”

“Doing what every week?”

“Bring bus loads of girls to our parties!” That is the conversation that a popular local night club promoter and socially savvy pick-up artist, Godfather, had with me when I was reaching the peak of my social circle game mountain. Get paid to be surrounded by beautiful women? Where do I sign up?

Four years ago, I moved to this college town with no friends and am now known and liked by the majority of the regulars at the hottest local night clubs.

No matter what your skill level is with women or the pick-up artist community, it is universally accepted that it is EASIER to begin a conversation with a woman through an introduction from a mutual friend rather than dealing with the anxiety of the initial approach and using “lines” to buy yourself enough time to continue the interaction. There are many ways to quickly become skilled in the art of the social circle game.

The first part is the easiest which only requires that you make FRIENDS with an attractive woman. “Birds of a feather flock together” so more often than not, attractive women will have attractive friends. The best way to establish this friendship is to first disqualify yourself as a potential mate and secondly show that you have value to offer her.

Frequently in the young adult community a great way to do this is to host parties and provide music and beverages. Having people at your party shows that you have healthy social relationships and that you are essentially “leading the pack” and are the source of their good time.

Once you begin building rapport with friends at parties, they will start to introduce you to their attractive friends and you can focus more on conveying the attractive qualities of your personality and playing “the game”.

Another great way to befriend attractive women is to initially display your attractive qualities, build comfort and rapport, and never escalate the situation sexually. Often times men will actually do this by mistake and end up in the “friend zone”.

For those familiar with cold-approach game, many of the same principles can be utilized and be most effective in a “diluted” way, such as dressing more conservative and being more “yourself”. Often times to convey attractive qualities about yourself that will win you the girl, you have to do/say things that are not considered socially acceptable, which is why it is important to get your target into isolation where you can exchange attraction without compromising your social statuses.

It is with these concepts that my talent was recognized by the best-of-the-best in the area and further improved to the point where I have been able to go out to the hottest night clubs every night of the week without paying a cover charge for almost a year now. It is with these concepts that one can truly achieve a lifestyle with an abundance of amazing women and multiply one’s opportunities of mating with the highest quality of women.

Interested in being the next top pick-up artist?

Being a pick-up artist, isn’t only about picking up women. It’s about building a lifestyle around you where you will be happy and achieve the goals you desire. When I first joined the community in 2004, I thought that being a pick-up artist was just about picking up women. Sure, we do have a goal in mind and that is picking up women, but there are many other factors involved. Like, what type of pick up artist you will be?

Now, in 2009 I have a better idea of who I am as a pick-up artist to give new people an idea about this community and what we do. So, you want to pick up girls? Well, my first advice would be to find a reputable company that offers bootcamps. I waited until later to do this, but I wish I would have done it earlier. First, it offers you a good support system. Second, bootcamps offer you a program that will not only make you a better pick-up artist, but change your life. There are good companies offering bootcamps in the States.

Besides taking a bootcamp, what other factors can you improve on? I liked to take my weaker areas and improve on them. I was always good at nightgame, but I wanted to improve on my daygame. Daygame is where you go to meet girls during the day. This can be done at coffee shops, bookstores, and the street. Daygame is fun because most guys don’t approach women during the day. And the cool thing is, you can have success from approaching a girl during the day. I recommend approaching in high traffic areas. For example, coffee shops that get lots of traffic.

I mentioned nightgame previously. This is where I started my journey in pick-up. Nightgame is easier for most guys because they can have alcohol to approach. This is something that they can’t do during the day. When I go out, I try to limit my alcohol intake. This is because drinking too much can make your sarges sloppy. Then, the next day you will be thinking did I really do that? The good thing is if you limit your alcohol intake you can do better.

There is also social circle an advanced form of game, but one of the better ways to have women in your life. Social circle is great because once you have it the work is done for you for the most part. Going out to a club or a bar with tons of people including good looking girl can trigger attraction switches in other girls around the venue. Not only that, but you always have your social circle to rely on. A good tip for social circle is to just start going out and meeting people. Be cool and social and invite them out with you. There’s a lot more ground to cover, but if your seriously looking at becoming a pick-up artist or have thought of it you have come to the right place.

Pay attention to class students!

Two types of game exist in a college atmosphere – both of which I feel are important to master: cold approach game and social circle game. Most PUA’s are fluent in methods and strategies of cold approach game – which essentially focuses on closing a new girl as soon as possible. The quicker you close, the quicker she will backwards-rationalize sleeping with you and essentially put the future direction of the relationship in your hands, so it is important to close as soon as possible. Many naturals are skilled at social circle game and are able to close “friends-of-friends” by unconsciously running basic attraction spikes/switches. With most of the local night clubs in college towns heavily populated with social circles, it is important to learn the skills to effectively gain access to these “tribes” for pre-selection purposes.

Cold approaching in college can be divided into two categories – day game and night game. Day game is extremely effective due to the non-threatening environment and opportunity to quickly isolate without dealing with obstacles or interrupts. The best venues for day game in a college atmosphere are campus, shopping malls, and book stores. On campus, the best time to sarge is in the late afternoon when classes are almost over near dorms and basic class buildings. I typically run situational openers that allow me to say something funny and spike BT right away. After that a bounce or #close comes easy.

In shopping malls, the best places to sarge are retail clothing stores and the food court. I typically bounce girls from there to a restaurant bar then my place for hookah and if kino has been effectively escalated throughout the process, the same day close comes easily. The best venues for night game are the most exclusive and expensive clubs because they typically have the hottest girls, the lowest noise levels, and are the least crowded – which essentially provides optimal logistics.

Great social circle game skills will not only give you instant social proof in large social circles such as sororities, but also save you thousands of dollars in cover charges, allowing you to go out more often and reach a higher level of success in a shorter period of time. Working my way up the social ladder and becoming a club promoter saves me an average of $15/night, 7 days/week, which saves over $400/month and allows me to open around 140 sets/week (at night) opposed to the practically affordable 40 sets/week.

Once both styles of college game have been optimized and calibrated effectively, you will be closing more beautiful women than you ever imagined.

I haven’t been posting lately and this is because I have been going through a transformation since my bootcamp. I’ve been out constantly sarging and bettering my game…

An interesting thing happened this week. You know when I started pick up I ran social circle and alot of nightgame… I have run day game some of the time, but this week I went through a realization.

I ran a street pickup and bounced the hb to a coffee shop. I was able to close her on the Day 3 it could have been a Day 2 close, but there were time constraints. The sarge was done entirely during the day. From opening to closing it was run during the day.

Now, I am more determined than ever to improve my day game. Street game probably has the lowest probably of the different types of day game. However, I find street game the most exciting

There’s so many things going on with my game right now but the main focus on this post is day game.

Day Game Tips:

1. High traffic areas- make sure to hit up high traffic areas since this has the most amount of people and potential sets to open

2. Street Game- although street game is an area I am improving I have noticed if you move the sarge quickly (kinoing early, locking in, bouncing) you can have a higher rate of success

3. Bookstores- bookstores are a great place to game during the day. One thing I have done lately is take hb’s to the travel section of the bookstore and pick out the place they would most like to travel to. From there, we sit down and look through the pictures in the book (good for kino). Also, you can bounce around other areas of the bookstore.

4. Coffee shops- these are good as well. Make sure not to talk to the hb’s from a standing position for a long time.

**Know your bounce locations during the day. You never know when you will have a set that will go well. Then, if you don’t know your bounce locations, you will be walking around looking. This is not good trust me I have been there.

Don’t be afraid to kino during the day either. Kino’ing was one of my weaker areas after my bootcamp, but I have gotten my kino calibration tighter now. Kino works well after your bt spikes…

Karea is one of those dating coaches who you’ve probably never heard of but who your favorite Pick Up Guru knows and respects. He’s currently traveling South America and it was a crazy coincidence that LatinStylez and I met him (He found us by googleing for Colombia Wings and turns out he knows the Pick Up Asia crew). 1) How did you get into pickup?

I got lucky: when I was 16, I had a music teacher who was a real Casanova. He always had 4 girl-friends, he pushed me into sets when I was too shy to talk to girls and taught me more about women than about chords and scales. Years later, I met a natural who taught me a few more things and that’s when I really started cold approaching on my own. Only another 2 years later, in 2004, a friend of mine told me: “You know, there is a community on the internet of guys like you. They call themselves pickup artists.” I was skeptical – how much could these computer geeks really know about women? Haha. Little did I know. (:

2) What is your dating philosophy?

“Stack work is no less important for a PUA than it is for a comedian.” All the very best PUAs I know have a gameplan – Sinn, Captain Jack, Vision, Mystery, Style… If you write a stack, and then go out and run it often, it’s almost inevitable that you will improve. It’s also almost inevitable that your dating life will be more abundant than you will have free time for. I see the whole “natural game” trend in the community and it’s something I did for several years myself… until I got invited on Mystery’s Lounge in 2006 and realized that it’s the only forum where people consistently post 6-8 new lay reports a month each! Now, whether that’s your goal or not is a different question – but it sure showed me that there is something to this stack work.

3) How did you get good at dating to become an authority on it?

Enthusiasm. I love talking about girls and I love talking to them. What I was really looking for in the community were like minded people – cause most of my friends just got bored when I talked about chicks all the time. (:

4) What do you think guys greatest mistake with women is?

Rather than answer this question myself, I recommend you ask some of your girl-friends about the lame things guys do to try and pick up on them or impress them. It’s actually pretty funny (:

5) In your experience, what is the best place to find a quality girlfriend?

Day game. Two years ago I made a list of all my ex girl-friends, to look for patterns. All relationships with girls I had met in night game were chaotic, to say the least. Some of the most wonderful girls I’ve dated, I met in day game. Other great PUAs I’ve talked to about this topic confirm this experience.

6) What are some ways to enlarge your social circle?

You really only need one friend… he can introduce you to 5 people, who introduce you to 5 more people each, and soon there is no stopping it. The only limit on the size of your social circle should be the free time at hand. And once you have more friends than time to spend with, you can start to be more picky.

7) What was your life like when you weren’t good with women? What is it like now?

I already had a few little “girl-friends” in primary school that I snuck in the bathroom with to kiss, but around age 8 I got into the wrong peer group and ended up being mostly AFC until I was 19. From 19 – 21 I dated one of the prettiest girls from my year, which didn’t really help my social life much at all because the popular guy was in love with her and so all his peer group hated on me. Now? I’m now at a point where, because of my travels, I often have to start a life in a new city where I don’t know anybody – but I know that within a week or two I will have a beautiful girl-friend and a cool social circle.

What is one of your favorite techniques/tactics?

I’ll share a technique here that I came up with years ago when I was reverse engineering the secret to charisma. It is to treat everybody like they were your best friend from high school that you haven’t seen in ages. Not just any friend… your BEST friend. Really imagine you’re not talking to some dude you just met or to some girl with a bitch shield – imagine you’re talking to that one friend from high school that you had all these inside jokes with.

9) Do you use props? If so, what gets the most reactions?

Well, sometimes. I wouldn’t recommend to be dependant on props, but one thing I did for a while was to show girls some pics on my digital camera. You can obviously choose interesting pictures that make you look good, pictures of yourself being social, travelling, doing sports, being on stage, etc. But the one that always got the best reaction was a picture of a cat with two different eyes – a green one and a blue one. The girl would call her friends over and be like “oh my God, look at this cat! That is amazing”. By the time her friends looked at the cam, I’d already flipped to the next picture – a picture of a perfectly normal cat – and show it to her friends. They’d all look at her like “What’s wrong with you? That’s just a normal cat”. Haha. Good times.

10) What is your biggest sticking point?

State dependence. When I’m in state, I’m a rock star. When I’m not, I have AA… even after 7 years of cold approaching.

11) What pick up artist has inspired you the most? What did you learn from them?

There are four I’d mention. David D is great for inner game, Mystery for outer. David Shade is the man when it comes to sexual mastery, and Captain Jack when it comes to Framing.

12) Describe the moment when your realized you need to work on this part of your life.

When I was 16, the music teacher I mentioned above told me that he used to be shy as a kid. I didn’t believe him… he was the most charismatic and social person I ever met, always the center of attention and flirting with beautiful women. But it showed me that these social skills are something that can be learned and practiced… and so I wanted to improve. Now, 12 years later, I’m the one who tells people that I was shy as a teenager – and they don’t believe me.

13) What advice do you give to newbies starting out?

It depends a lot on where they’re at and where they wanna go. But if somebody is not getting results with women, I warn them to stay away from “natural game” products. If being yourself hasn’t helped you so far, it won’t help you in the future just because you watched a DVD. In fact the schools that teach natural game are usually the ones that have forums almost void of lay-reports.

14) In your experience, what is the biggest issue for guys getting attraction from women?

Fear. Fear of approaching, and fear of taking things to a romantic / physical level. Fear of saying something wrong and thus staying on safe, polite conversation. What helped me over this was to tell myself: “She is not my dream girl… she is not the perfect 10 that I will marry some day in the future… so this interaction doesn’t matter… at all.” Outcome independence, if you will.

15) What are your goals for the community? Your life?

Truth be told, I have achieved all the goals I set for myself in this area of my life… be it dating several dancers and models at the same time, or falling in love with one 10 and building an amazing, deep, exclusive relationship. So at the moment I’m enjoying the ride… but since I constantly work on my skills, the goal is mastery. You can always get better – there is no ceiling.

Specialized Questions

1) Why did you choose to come to South America?

I fell in love with this continent when I was a child, maybe 8 years old… we have family friends from there, and whenever they were around, I’d run up to them and go: “Cecilia, tell me about South America!” (: I was fascinated by her stories about the country… eternal summer, salsa music, perpetual smiles and beautiful people, great food and a cocktail under palm trees.

2) What’s the difference between sarging in North America and South America?

The three main differences, in my experience, are:
1.) Latinas don’t usually have bitch shields – they will be polite even if they’re not interested
2.) Latinas don’t cock block. If a girl sees that her friend likes you, she will usually help her get laid rather than sabotage it.
3.) Many Latinas are very catholic and conservative. They’re more flirtatious than Western girls and may even kiss you faster, but wait longer before they go all the way with a guy.

3) Can you relate a success story about one of your clients?

In 2008, I was teaching a lot of guys about relationship mastery, and I received great feedback from all my students. One of them was totally in love with a girl, but he didn’t know what to do about it and how to communicate with her… she obviously walked all over him. I coached him through the issues and I regularly get emails from him about how happy he is with the relationship now… it’s very satisfying for a teacher to see that.

4) Why did you choose the name Karea?

LOL. I had a different handle before, until a chick hacked into my email. Heaven hath no rage, nor hell a fury… The good side is, this made for a funny stalker story that I now tell in set sometimes.

5) What are your fundamental teachings?

There’s a lot… But one fundamental thing is definitely charisma – despite what I said about stack work above, I think it’s far more important to develop personal magnetism than it is to do body rocking or time constraints or negs or BHRR.

6) How do you differ from other dating coaches?

Much like Brad P, I figured a lot of stuff out before the community. So I know both perspectives – natural game and learned game – and how to integrate them with each other.

7) Your known as a “moral PUA” in the community. How do you respond to that?

Haha… yeah, I had a bunch of discussions with other famous PUA about this topic. I believe in pickup with harm to noone. I think it’s neither good nor necessary to destroy other people’s relationships, to cheat on your girl-friend or to lead girls on about your motives. If you truly have an abundance mindset, you will surely be able to find girls who are single, and be honest about it if you’re not ready to commit. Hey, I’m not pointing fingers here… I made mistakes in the past myself. But I experienced that there are ways to play this game win – win.

Tell me about your products.

I used to teach a Relationship Mastery Seminar with a major pickup company last year, and I’m also working on a product about Relationship Mastery myself, but it will be a few months at least before I’m ready to publish that. I also wrote some chapters for the number one Mexican pickup book, and for a book that will soon be published by LoveSystems (former Mystery Method) – about very fast lays in day game (within 15 minutes to 1 hour from meeting a girl).

I got blown out. I opened two HB8′s with the Drunk I love You’s Opener, but I missed my false time constraint! They told me we gotta go before I even got into my opener! Ouch… Ying and Yang energy I must remain non reactive…

Set 2

Opened a 3 set with a default opener.. This time I threw in the FTC and transitioned with “Lemme guess your the good girl and your the bad girl…” Bad girl referring to my target… Then, I tell them “You can be my devil (target) and you can be my angel (obstacle)… (Love Systems Transition)Then, we can walk hand in hand…

I ended up isolating my target away from the friends for a bit… She didn’t really meet what I was looking for in qualification so I ejected the set…

Opened with the bar opener… “When a guy and a girl are at the bar at the same time, who should get waited on first the guy or the girl??” She starts talking… From there, she invites me to go to a party on Sunday with her friend… She talked about how she’s a pot girl hmm… lol…

Saw this HB who I had known before from Social Circle… Started talking to her then did a bounce over to the VIP area… Went into A3 with qualification about where she has traveled then I started speaking to her in Spanish… She knew a lil, but I teased her a bit for not being able to keep up

From there, did a lil bit of kino then number closed future timebridge…

Debrief…

Ran some more sets none were worth mentioning, but debriefed with new Lair members at the end of the night…

Pool Game

We head to a big pool party in town… Pools are fun because they are a GREAT place to game (Hot Girls) plus the girls are in bikinis haha!!

I open a two set sitting down…
ME: “Hey ur tattoo looks pretty interesting! R u into music??” (She had a music design on the tat)
Her: Yeah…
Me: Transitioned about how they knew each other bad girl/good girl routine…

We had a cooler full of beers and I asked if they could watch it while we went around the pool area…. I made sure to talk to all the people I knew there including my friend who was Dj’ing the pool party…

Opened this HB with a flower tattoo who knew my friend… She was pretty interesting mainly for her artistic approach she was an interior designer who wanted to set up hotels for dogs… Her fav dog was a some kind of hunting dog with green eyes… Nonetheless, interesting set and we ended up talking for some time… Made sure to throw in my DHV spikes and kino some also ran the rings routine for more kino buildup…

HB Towel Girl…

I sat down on a chair and this girl had a towel with her name on it…

ME: “Oh did you go to a special place to get your name imprinted on your towel?”
Her: “Yes, actually my Aunt has a shop in LA and she does it…”

We ended up talking about LA and I told her how I have some friends out there… Did some cold reads on her and then got distracted by my other friends and she had to go… Good set, though her bf was right next to us lol!

Thoughts

Pool game is lots of fun… Didn’t realize how many girls had tats!!! Easy to open during the day and most the sets were hooking…

In Club game, don’t forget to utilize your areas! For example, VIP sections to bring your targets too… It also helps knowing ppl in the venues…
