How to get to Ayala Mall? I recommend telling the cabdriver to drop you off at the Starbuck’s outside of Ayala Mall. The Starbuck’s is near the Citibank.

When you walk past the Starbuck’s, go down the stairs and get past the security guard. Yes, they have security guards just about everywhere in the Philippines. However, I think they are necessary to prevent bad people from getting inside locations. It’s better to be safe than sorry right. After passing the security guard, you are free to explore the mall.

The mall has four floors all filled with clothing stores, restaurants, and other types of shops. You can spend hours just wandering the mall it is huge. It’s also nicely air-conditioned which is much better than being outside. I think of the malls in the Philippines as a mini city. Cebu has poor infrastructure and you can’t walk around the city. It seems like investors in Cebu dumped money into malls, but the city has failed to improve its infrastructure. Nonetheless, it’s a nice place to sarge.

The food selection in Ayala Mall is impressive and the food court is on the fourth floor.

If you want to get Filipino style food, I recommend checking out the food court. There is a gym on the last floor as well. The third, floor which is below the food court, also has restaurants ranging from: Kfc, Jollybee’s, Kenny Roger’s, Greenwich, etc. Many of the restaurants on this floor are unhealthy.

However, I did come across Kenny Roger’s chicken where I sarged the Korean girl. This restaurant is a healthy alternative to the fast food restaurants on this floor. If you are craving American food, there is a TGI Friday’s on the first floor. The TGI’s is actually outdoor as well and close to the Starbuck’s. There are plenty of restaurants outside of the mall so I recommend checking them out.

One of the best parts of this mall is the really hot Korean girls you see walking around. Be warned though they come in big groups because of that I usually stuck to opening the solo girls or two sets. Also, they usually aren’t smart enough to get Filipino phones with sim cards so you are left with an email address. I’m not a big fan of emailing and my results from it have proven that it’s better to get a phone number.

Another major advantage of the mall is that you have tons of bounce locations if you decide to take a girl you just met somewhere. I recommend checking out the Starbuck’s and Coffee Bean outside of the mall. Here is a picture of the ground floor of the Starbuck’s and yes another security guard protecting it.

There are plenty of women to talk to in there. There is also an arcade named Timezone on the last floor. It has lots of fun games inside like basketball, fighting games, and DDR. There is an internet café on the fourth floor called Netopia and they have a 100MB connection, which is difficult to find in the Philippines.

The one major disadvantage of the mall is that you feel like you are walking in one big circle on the third and fourth floor. This had me feeling a bit nauseated today. You have been warned!

From time to time, I have guest authors contribute on this blog. Travolta is a personal friend of mine and he has a story he wants to share with you on his time in Vang Vieng, Laos.

Vang Vieng is a strange place. It is located in the middle of Laos, yet people come from all around the world to party. The main attraction of Vang Vieng is tubing; people sit on tubes and float down the river, stopping at bars along the way. There are many bars along the river, but only about 4 or 5 that people go to where you’ll find crazy parties. People start at the first bar and end up at the last. Not only are there bars, but there are also ziplines, rope swings, and water slides. Drunk people going on ziplines is always a good idea… This party begins around 1PM and ends at 6 or 7PM, or whenever the sun goes down over the mountains. By 4pm most people are too drunk to stand straight. After tubing, people eat dinner, then get ready to party again at night. The thing with Laos is that due to government regulations, bars must shut down by midnight. Some bars stay open later, but they either have a late license or do so illegally.

My first night out in Vang Vieng I saw this guy handing out free shots. I said that I’d be interested in working; 2 minutes later I found myself talking to the owner of the bar and agreed to start working the next day. In exchange for work I’d get free accommodation, free food, and all the free alcohol I wanted. The bar wasn’t particularly crowded, but why not. I’m always down for a new experience. I showed up at the river the following day at 12:30 PM. My job on the river was to hand out free shots, tie wrist bands around people, and promote for the night time. I got completely shit faced my first day on the job. Later that night I went out to the bar and got completely shit faced again. At 11:30 PM I was done for the day and was able to either stay out partying, or go to sleep.

I hadn’t gotten laid since I left Korea and was going on a 5 week dry spell. I was a bit rusty, to say the least. The good thing about working at the bar forced me to talk to A LOT of people in a short period of time. After a few days of work I started getting more on point and was making out with a new girl every day. My first make out was with this cute South African broad. The following night this Australian girl approached me and started making out with me about 8 seconds later. I was starting to get more on point.

One night at work I noticed these 2 Korean girl walking around the bar taking pictures of themselves. Surprising to see Asian girls taking unnecessary pictures of themselves, huh??? Haha. One of them was hot, the other fat. I approached them and asked if they were from Korea. They were surprised that I knew that they were Korean (I spent 5 weeks in Korea recently and live in the northeast of the USA, so I know damn well what Korean girls look like). I told them I spent 5 weeks in Korea and that I crashed at a friend’s place in Gangnam. They were Gangnam girls, so it was instantly on. I started talking about bolgogi and kimchi after this. They asked if I worked at the bar, and I said what I said, then offered them jobs at the bar. Of course my main motivation in doing this was to fuck the hot one. They started working at the river the next day.

The following day at the river I spent a lot of time talking to the cute one (as well as every other hot girl that came to party on the river). Great thing about working on the river was that it was an easy way to meet every girl who stopped by. When a girl hung out at my bar on the river and I actually had a conversation with her, if she came out to my bar later that night it was easy to continue where we left off. In addition to this, working at a bar is a great way to gets lots of social proof. Working at a somewhat low-key bar is nice because it makes it easy to meet everyone there. Working at a crowded bar is probably great, but it’s less obvious to the girls that you work there so you don’t stand out as much.

Later that night at the bar, it was me, my chick, her friend, and my friend. I suggested that we all go back to my room and smoke a joint. After the joint my friend and his chick went off to his room to fuck, so it was me and my chick in my room. She wasn’t ready to fuck that night. I went for the make out and got D-NIED. She went to her room after this. The following night I found myself in a hammock with her. We went back to my room and I got whiskey dick. I drank a bit too much. The next night we went back to my place again, except this time I railed her out really hard. After that night we fucked every night until she left. If I ever go back to Korea I’ll rail her brains out again.

Every day at the river this German girl would come down. This girl was absolutely gorgeous; cool girl too. I’d basically talk to her the entire time she was at my bar. I’d always tell her to come out to the bar at night, but she thought I was just promoting and not being sincere about it. Finally on her last night she came to the bar. She said to me “would it make you happy if I kissed you?” I said sure, and made out with her. I tried pulling her back to my hostel but she declined, due to a 5 AM bus ticket the next morning. This was also the Korean girls last night in town; luckily she showed up late… this gave me plenty of time to game the German girl. However I probably would have gamed the German girl regardless of if the Korean girl was there or not. Shortly after the German declined my attempt to go back to my hostel the Korean girl showed up. Being honest seemed like the best thing to do in this situation so I said to the German “I’ve been sleeping with this girl for the past week, but I want you tonight. Let’s go back to my place now.” She said no. She was getting ready to go to sleep anyway. We made out again, and she left. Not closing this girl was painful though. If I ever go to Germany I’ll finish what I started…

This was a cool night for me though. In the first part of the night I was making out with a hot German girl, and after she left I hung out with my Korean girl and banged her. It’s as if all of my hard work in the past was paying off right before my eyes…

The day after my Korean chick left town I moved into a new hostel. A hostel called Spicy Laos. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you ever visit Vang Vieng; it is by far the best and easiest place to meet new people. There’s a common area where everyone hangs out, and the beds are separated by nothing more than thin bamboo walls and mosquito nets. Very cool place but a bit cold at night. Plus, it’s literally the cheapest place in town and there’s free wifi, free breakfast, and hot showers. (There’s also a Spicy Laos in Luang Prabong. I highly recommend this hostel for all backpackers visiting Laos).

So pretty much everybody had quit working at the bar except for me and my English friend. He was ready to quit and move to a new bar, but I told him that the rewards would be GREAT if we both stuck it out… we both moved into Spicy Laos at the same time. Seize the day and jump on good opportunities. Shortly after moving into my new hostel I found myself talking to this cute Aussie girl. At the time she was travelling solo, but her friends were arriving the next day. Our conversation was very casual and pretty short. My English friend and I told everyone to come out to our bar later that night. Another benefit of staying at this hostel was that it was a great location for us to promote the bar to everyone.

That night the bar was decent, but I was exhausted. At 11:30 PM, I was ready to go to sleep. One of the Lao guys who owned the bar told me that I should stay until 12. I said why not, and stayed… at about 11:35 PM everybody from the hostel showed up, including the Aussie broad. She came up to me and was ALL over me. We went to the dance floor… I was wearing these thin Thai-style pants, and she was wearing those stretchy black pants (I fucking love those things). She started grinding on me and I told her “be careful… these pants are REALLY thin…” After this she suggested we go to a hammock. Hammocks are a fun place to take girls. She jumped me and started kissing my neck. I had to physically push her off to make her stop. After she stopped, I said to her “I’m going to FUCK THE SHIT out of you later…” She liked this. I found myself with the biggest hickey of my life, on my neck. I said that we should go back to the hostel. She replied with, “we’re going to end up there anyway, let’s wait a bit. This quote really stuck with me; it’s a great mindset to have, one of patience. We went back to the hostel 15 minutes later. No resistance. Only problem is that I got whiskey dick (story of my life). I fucked her for a solid 20 seconds then lost it. Get a good night sleep and don’t get too drunk! After this she was not sexually attracted to me anymore. It wasn’t awkward between us and we’d still talk, but she didn’t want to fuck again.

The night I pulled the Aussie girl was particularly fun for me though. My English friend I worked with was the next bed over from me. He had a new girl with him and I had a new girl with me. At one point he goes “Travolta, is that you?” I said back to him, “Yep. What’s up?” and continued with my business. Good good times.

The day after I sort of banged the Aussie broad I felt like the man. I was overly exhausted from partying so much and was feeling narcissistic. I didn’t want to do anything but sit around all day and not speak to anyone. About 3 days later I quit working at the bar; it was far too draining for me to be around drunk people all day. I could not deal with that shit any longer. Two days after I quit I left Vang Vieng and went to Luang Prabong. The cool thing about working in a bar is that is teaches you to be unreactive to all of the external stimuli going on around you. Everybody would be getting drunk and going crazy, but I’d be standing there completely chilled out. I was used to the environment from working there, so it had absolutely no affect. Girls would approach me every night because there was something different about me and everyone else in the bar. I miss working at a bar… I hope to do it again someday somewhere else.

My 2 weeks spent in Vang Vieng was the time of my life, hands down. I made out with some really hot girls, banged 2 different girls, and also did some amazing things. I went rock climbing and went on this intense and dangerous trek through the mountains. Traveling Southeast Asia made me discover that I love hiking through the mountains. It has actually inspired my near-future plans to go to Nepal. In Nepal I am planning on taking a 2 week trek to the base camp of Nepal. The majority of people go to Vang Vieng for the sole purpose of partying. The partying is great, but the best thing about the place has got to be the scenery. The town is surrounded by tall, steep limestone mountains. Every day I was there I’d stare at the mountains and they never failed to amaze me.

Vang Vieng was amazing, but I have no plans on returning for AT LEAST another few years. Go there if you ever get the chance. I could write another few pages about the rest of my experience in Laos, but I don’t want to get carried away.

I was surprised to find SO MANY Korean women in Cebu. I didn’t expect it to be honest with you. I knew some K-girls went down to the Philippines for vacation and studying English, but I didn’t know it was in such a large influx. Anyways, I missed sarging Korean women… They take good care of themselves, many of them have a good energy, and I had a lot of experience meeting them in Korea.

Where to meet Korean women in Cebu?

I have yet to explore the other malls in Cebu, but I know that they like to go to Ayala Mall. I’ve been opening around 4 or so today, and today I met a K-girl that was worth posting an FR. I know I don’t post many FR’s these days!

I was walking around the mall, and I opened two sets. One was another Korean girl that was waiting on her taxi, and she didn’t open well so I ejected. The next set was a Filipino girl that had a Japanese style to her. After I opened her, she looked like she was in a hurry so I didn’t pursue it…

I was a bit hungry so I went over to the third floor of Ayala Mall where the restaurants are, and decided that I wanted to get something healthier. A lot of the restaurants in the Philippines are fast food and unhealthy. I go inside Kenny Roger’s and after a few minutes I see this tall sort of tanned chick ordering some food. She was really nitpicky asking if they wouldn’t add rice to her meal and butter on her vegetables. She was talking to the Filipino workers like they were worthless pieces of shit. After she ordered her food, I laughed with the guy at the front desk saying “Wow she’s picky.” He gave me a light laugh then extended convo with me asking where I was from…

The chick that ordered the food sat down, and I thought to myself “I should open her…” Then a few minutes later she answers her phone and I hear “Yoboseyo.” For those of you who don’t know Korean, that’s how they say “hello” on the phone. I took a seat near here after I ordered my food. Eventually, she sat back down. They brought rice out to her and she said “I told you I didn’t order rice blah blah blah…” The worker listened to her with a smirk on his face and he went to the kitchen to change the order. Many of the people in the restaurant were looking at her in a strange way.

I opened her with “Annyong. You’re Korean right?” I told her I lived in Korea for some time. Then she goes over to me and sits next to me. She was really good looking and talkative. That’s what I like about Korean women a lot of them express their feelings. They are fun to sarge. We chit chat about Seoul and turns out she was from Apujeong which is the higher class area in Seoul. Her food arrives and everything looks good for her this time. I made a joke about her being nitpicky and called her “khonju pyeong” when she asked the guy working at the restaurant “Can you get me a straw?” Khongu pyeong basically means princess fever. It’s a word that Koreans use for women who can be whiny, bratty, and what things done their way…

This was a huge bt spike, and she was laughing the entire time. I set up a time to meet with her which she switched to Friday. I liked how she was into fitness, eats healthy, and was also a broadcaster. She had done some traveling so I found that nice because it showed she was open to seeing new places.

After eating our food, we parted ways. I had light kino and tried to give her a spin, but she didn’t turn around… Ahh, the failed spin move! It usually works with K-girls…

All in all, I learned something in this sarge. Just because a girl might be rude to others or she might be in her own little world isn’t an excuse to NOT open her. I opened this chick, and she turned out to be quite an interesting cute “yeoja.” Yeoja means woman in Korean

After my burn, I came down with a pretty bad cold. I was coughing up mucus all night and began to have chills. It’s probably my body adjusting to being in a foreign country. I haven’t felt this sick in a long time. I went out with Lumiere to do some day game and get medicine. I ran about three sets including one where this girl with short shorts. She was walking in front of me. I blurted out to Lumiere “I wonder if she’s hot from the front.” She turned around and looked at me and sure enough she was pretty cute. She had the tan and long dark hair that Filipinas have that I find attractive. I asked her where the beach was and she said “Come with me” and gave me a nice smile.

We walked to this restaurant named Café Del Mar where she was working and she asked us to have a seat. Lumiere and I were hungry so we decided to get some food. I ordered the Shrimp Sandwich. It was good, but it wasn’t an ACTUAL sandwich because it had the grilled shrimp, lettuce, tomato, a creamy sauce, and a piece of wheat bread on the bottom. IT didn’t actually have two pieces of bread just one. Would you technically call that a real sandwich? It sure didn’t feel like it since I had to use a knife and a fork to eat it.

It was pretty good, but I would have much rather would have liked a real sandwich. They actually served the food to us on the beach after about a 15-20 minute wait. We went to lie down on the long white beach chairs. Some of them were taken so Lumiere and I had to share a seat. There were some cute Korean girls behind us wearing shades and relaxing. I went over to them and asked them if our chair was already taken but they didn’t seem to speak English well. I probably should have spoken to them in Korean, but they were non-reactive so I left the set.

After we got our bill I asked the short shorts waitress for her number. She said “You can call me at the restaurant.” I told her that she might as well leave me her number because that would be easier to contact her. She didn’t know her number off the top of her head so she went back and gave it to me.

Then we walked down D-Mall street. D-Mall street is a long street with many outdoor shops that is good for day game. I opened two sets – one was a short Filipina that was window shopping and I got her number.

Afterwards, we went to a pharmacy that Lumiere found in D-Mall. I opened a cute tall/blonde haired Russian girl with “Are you Russian?” She was a bit cold and said she had to go as she walked out of the pharmacy. I spoke with the people at the pharmacy about getting something for my cough, sinus pressure, and body aches. They gave me some Robitussin for the cough and I also bought some sunscreen. Many of the pharmacies here are actually just an outdoor counter are not even indoor. The pharmacy I visited was like this. I haven’t seen an indoor pharmacy in Boracay yet…

They recommended another pharmacy for some sinus pressure medicine. On this island, it feels like most stores are always low on stock. That means you have to walk around to other stores to get the item you need. We also stopped by a hospital on the same road but they were closed after 4PM. The woman working there recommended I come back tomorrow. The hospital (get name later) is also free and accepts donations. Many of the private clinics charge a foreigner tax.

Soon we came across another pharmacy. There was a middle-aged women buying medicine and she told me I should take some Ibuprofen and Sinatap which they didn’t have at this pharmacy. We were told we could take out 20,000 pesos at this bank. We needed 20,000 pesos so we can pay off our rent bill and avoid getting charged ATM fees for every 10,000 pesos you take out. Most banks in the Philippines only allow 10,000, pesos per day withdrawal limit, but I did find a CitiBank in Makati that allowed a withdrawal of up to 15,000 pesos. The fee for using the ATM is 200 pesos.

We stopped by the Allied Bank, which was our last stop of the day, and we were only allowed a 10,000 peso withdrawal which sucks because you get charged per withdraw. We then had to go down the street to find a taxi for 20 pesos to our place. The driver tried to rip us off and we spend about 10 minutes on the street trying to negotiate for 40 pesos. We finally got one that charges us 100 pesos. The ride home was windy and we had to take another route home because our street was closed. The ride was about 15- 20 minutes and I was cold by the time we got off. I think because I have a fever. I walked upstairs to my room all lethargic, but I hope in the next few days I will feel better.

I’m finally getting around to writing this post as its due time. Gangnam is by far one of the best places to sarge in Seoul. There is a constant influx of beautiful women throughout the day. You get a mix of university students and women that have careers. That’s what makes this place so special is the different types of women you can meet!

Here is some info on Gangnam Station

Bounce Locations

1. Exit 7- you can also use the street on this exit to open sets. I preferred sarging here on sunny days in the afternoon. The weekends also receive a large influx of people. I usually opened with something simple like a directions opener. Setting up insta-dates weren’t a problem either. I would usually insta-date by asking “What are you doing today?” If they didn’t have anything going on, then I would suggest getting some coffee. That’s why it’s important you should learn the venues in the area first before asking a girl on an insta-date. I remember when I would travel places and not know where I was going to take them… This is not a situation you want to be in TRUST ME.

There is a Coffee Bean and Starbuck’s to your right when exiting Gangnam Station Exit 7. Both coffee shops are good for daygame and are great meeting locations for Day 2’s in Gangnam. Personally, I prefer taking my dates to less crowded coffee shops so I use some of the others mentioned on this list.

There is an additional Starbuck’s next to the McDonald’s

2. Behind the Starbuck’s- I have attached a picture so you can get an idea of where this Starbuck’s is located.

If you go behind the McDonald’s and Starbuck’s, there are a ton of restaurants. One of them I recommend is a Budaek jjigae restaurant. When you go behind the Starbuck’s, turn right and walk for a couple minutes. Look for the sign 부대찌개. The restaurant also has an interesting design on it. The staff were also very friendly. Here is a map of the location in Korean.

3. The CGV Building – On the third floor, there is a nice cafe there. It has a window where you can look up the building. It’s pretty cool and the staff is also friendly.

If you go near the CGV (movie theatre) Building make a right (you will go up a hill) and go down the side street full of cafes. There are two that I recommend.

4. Namu Wa- it’s a really nice tree cafe at the end of this street. During the spring, you can go to the third floor and they have a nice atmosphere up there. There are a lot of trees and it is outdoor so the girls really like this place.

There is also another cafe next to this one (on the right side of the street Name Wa is on the right side) where celebrities like to go. When I was at Namu Wa one time, I saw them filming a TV show.

5. Taco Rico-
This video here gives you a step by step instruction on how to get to Taco Rico and Big Rock in Gangnam from Exit 8 of Gangnam Station.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the owner is Korean, but lived in Mexico. Not only that, but the cook is from Mexico. This is probably the most authentic Mexican you will get in Seoul. They have everything from quesadillas to flautas! My favorite dish is the chicken burrito. It is located next to the front entrance of Big Rock.

Side note- they recently put in media poles in Gangnam Station Exit 6. These are great because you can take pictures with your date and edit (add cool images like in the photo booths) them for free. It also has an email feature where you can send it to your email address.

Nightlife at Exit 7:

1. Big Rock- I love this pub! It’s a nice Canadian pub in the area and also has many kinds of beer on draft. I have taken many girls there and they enjoyed the atmosphere because of the music and “Canadian” feel it gives off. If you watch the video on you tube, it has directions on how to get there from Exit #8.

2. Sky Lounge-

Want a view of Gangnam with a location HB’s just love? Head to the Sky Lounge for a few cocktails. Go outside for a nice view of the city… To get there, turn right where the McDonald’s and Starbuck’s is continue going up the hill until you see the sign Dublin Bar. Turn right there and look up. Take the elevator to the 8th floor.

Here is a map in Korean:

3. Club Eden (closer to Sinnonhyeon Station)-

This venue is located behind the Ritz Carlton. If you go from Exit 7 in Gangnam, continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Sinnonhyeon Station. Make a right and go down the street another five minutes until you see the Ritz Carlton. When you see the Ritz Carlton, make a right and you will be able to see Club Eden. Here is a map of how to get to Club Eden:

In terms of layout, this is one of the better clubs in Gangnam. The quality of women is also ridiculously high. They fly in DJ’s from all over the world there (Basement Jaxx in 2010). The cover charge is 30,000 won on the weekends and that includes one drink. It’s a bit steep for most clubs in Gangnam, but the quality of women there is totally worth it.

Exit 6

This exit is also good for street game because many of the fashion stores (Zara, Giordano) are also on this street. Exit 6 is also where many of the clubs in Gangnam are located

Sarge Locations/Bounce Locations

1. Kyobo Bookstore-

Subway: If you are coming outside Exit 6, walk straight for about 10 minutes (500m). Alternatively, you can get off at Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 6 to get to Kyobo Bookstore as well. You can’t miss the building! I like to come here for day game and I usually open sets in the English section of the bookstore.

2. Dos Tacos (map)-

Dos Tacos is located at exit 6 before the Kyobo Bookstore look on the left of the alleyway near the Apple Store. They have really good burritos (chicken/beef)… Margaritas are cheap too for Gangnam… The price for burritos is around 6,000 won. If you go there during lunch time, you can take advantage of their lunch prices which are around 5,000 won and it comes with a drink.

3. Brasilia-

Take exit 6 and head down the main street going towards Kyobo Bookstore… Look on your left for a Brazilian Steakhouse sign… The food is all you can eat style and absolutely delicious. The price is around 25,000 won for unlimited steak!

Nightlife at Exit 6

1. Rainbow Hookah Lounge- want a place to pre-game? Check out this hookah lounge. They have all different kinds of flavored hookahs there from strawberry to blueberry. Check out my original post on Rainbow here

2. Uncle 29- this is more of an American style Pub. It is also another good place to pre-game before getting the party started. The bartenders have a really nice show that they do when they light shots on fire. And the bartenders know how to make some good cocktails!

3. NB Club-

I rarely went to this club, but I heard it was pretty decent. They play hip-hop, Korean pop, and electro. The cover charge is 15,000 won on weekdays and 20,000 won on the weekends. You can get there by going straight from Exit 6 for about 6-7 minutes and making a left after you pass the Giordano clothing store. You will see the two clubs after walking a couple of minutes.

4. Harlem-

Hip-hop club. Again, not really my style because the venue is too smokey (from the smoke generators) and the girls there were kinda trashy when I went. It is open on Friday’s and Saturday’s and the cover is 20,000 won.

5. Club Mass-

This venue is pretty good because of the quality of women there. They play mostly House/Trance music and also bring in guest Dj’s. It is located near Cafe Bene (turn left when you see Café Bene) about 3-5 minutes walking distance from Exit 6. The cover charge is usually 25,000 won on the weekends (15,000 won on weekdays) and that gets you a drink. The drink price for a Heineken is 7,000 won. The major disadvantage is that it is basically one big dance room unless you have VIP. If you have VIP, then you can bounce sets to your table. That’s more like it right?

Side note- On the same street as Club Mass if you continue walking straight, you can find Butterfinger Pancakes. There is also a Burger King right next door.

They have the best pancakes in Seoul. There is also a California Pizza Kitchen on the same street as well as you pass the Butterfinger Pancakes walk for about 5 more minutes or so.

Yeoksam Club-

Club Heaven-

Yeoksam is the next station over to Gangnam and Heaven is one of my favorite clubs in Seoul. Club Heaven is located near Yeoksam Station close to the Renaissance Hotel. The cover charge is 20,000 won and the best nights to go are Friday and Saturday. They usually bring in guest Dj’s. The music is House/Trance music.

Directions

Subway: Make sure to get out of Yeoksam Station Exit #8 and walk straight for 4 blocks until you see Renaissance Hotel which will be on your left. Make a left at Renaissance Hotel near the main intersection. Cross the street and make a right. Heaven will be on your right.

Models pose with Reef’s new flip-flop sandals at Itaewon...

Ahh, Itaewon: the “home away from home”.

Just two years ago only foreign expats and tourists would ever come to this part of town (and they had good reasons too!) This was the first place I went to when I came to Seoul so many years ago.The place bustled with home-food restaurants, English-speaking stores, foreigner services and much more! Nowadays Koreans with a flair for the new and international come here to mingle, club and meet and date foreign men!

So how does that help you? If you’re looking for women who are most probably open to being with a foreigner then this is the place! But then where’s the best place in Itaewon to meet them? Once you meet them, where would you want to take them? What if you just want to check out the nightlife, where’s a good place to go?

Relax old buddy. I’m going to go over Itaewons’:

- sarge areas

- bounce locations

- nightlife spots

Excited yet? You will be! You’ll be able to find and meet Korean women in Itaewon with confidence once you’ve read this mini-guide.

Sarge Areas

Itaewon has more Korean women now than it ever did. You see, Itaewon is more of a hub now and if you’re looking to meet them, I recommend hanging out in the coffee shops or streets.

The best coffee shop in terms of ratio and quality is definitely Itaewon’s Coffee Bean followed by Tom and Toms and Neal’s Yard.

Coffee Bean is out of exit 3 and is overall the best women-meeting coffee shop in Itaewon. The problem is that it’s quite small and if you plan on bringing your computer to get some work done and meet women, charge it first because there aren’t any electronic sockets. The prices are steep for that area too.

Tom and Toms is a cheaper alternative. It has much more space and places to charge your computer. On the other hand, there aren’t too many sets and the ones that do come over aren’t as ‘quality’ as those from Coffee Bean.

Neal’s Yard has some of Korea’s hottest women. The problem is that it is overpriced and always full. So unless you get there early and are okay with spending more money than usual, Neal’s Yard is a great place to go.

“When’s the best time to go there to meet women?” Weekend evenings are the best time to go out there and meet women. My friends and I have found them to have the most beautiful and most worthwhile sets.

Bounce Locations

So let’s say you meet them. Where would you want to take them? Itaewon is famous for it’s restaurants but it has much more to offer as well. There’s a nice hot chocolate cafe as well as an English bookstore called ‘Watthebook’ where you can find many new topics to talk about there.

The hot chocolate cafe (can’t remember the name lol) is a 3-minute walk if you go on the street that Taco Bell is on. You’ll notice it on your left-hand side and it’s right next to another small cafe (haven’t been.) It has decently priced hot chocolate that is always a hit. The staff also give you some free chocolate, which is always nice!

If you’re a reader (which I recommend being) and want to take her on a journey, take her to whatthebook. They have books on travel (pretend that you’re going to a new country together), on hobbies that you or her might have, and other small stories as well. It’s a great place to share more about yourself. Maybe you’ll find a life-changing book there and you’ll be able to open up with her about it. Chicks dig a man who’s okay with sharing his deeper side.

If you’re up for some food there are plenty of restaurants to choose from but they are pricey and can easily set up the “on-a-date” frame. That being said, I recommend two places called Tony’s and Coffee n Soup.

Tony’s

is a little Australian restaurant that is a bit out of the way. It has decently priced finger food that your target has probably never had before (which is why I recommend the place.) On the other hand, the owner ‘Tony’ is a bit of a cockblock so if you have strong frames and if you tell her beforehand that even though the food is good but the owner is a douche (which is what I do and it works every time), it should be okay.

Coffee n Soup is a small coffee and soup (no duh!) place that has some new little things you can try. I personally haven’t been in and I usually go straight to my place but if you don’t live there and want to have some fun, that place seems nice. It might be a bit pricey for the coffee and soup but the key point is that it’s something different and fun!

Tony’s is a 10 minute walk straight out of exit 1 (just go up the hill once you see the crossroads at Itaewon’s intersection.) Coffee n soup is only 5 minutes.

NightLife spots

There are plenty to choose from nowadays. I’ll give a quick rundown.

JJs – probably the most infamous club in Itaewon. It is located inside the Hyatt hotel (just ask a cab driver to take you there – or it’s a long walk up). The crowd is usually between 25 – 35 year olds and is a classier joint. It’s getting crowded these days because it’s free!

Volume – as the name suggests, it’s loud! All that noise comes at a hefty price too – W30,000 entrance cover. On the other hand, it’s the only valid club in Itaewon. The women’s age range is 20 – 30 years old and it’s a short walk down the hill from the Itaewon/Noksapyeong intersection. Just ask around and you’ll get directions.

Luv – The latest lounge bar in Itaewon that has been doing very well. It is on the back street of Itaewon behind the Hamilton hotel. For a cover entrance of W20,000 you get into the only lounge in Seoul that I know of. You get a free drink, decent music and loads of women. The only problem I’ve had is that it’s quite ‘social circle-ly’ which is not my thing. That being said it’s Itaewon’s biggest nightspot hit his year.

Helios – Itaewon’s “meet to meat” place. Located on the main Itaewon strip, Helios has a cover charge of W10,000 and is filled with military people every weekend. It has a decent crowd and if you’re looking for an SNL (Single Night Lay) or ONS (One Night Stand) then this is a good place to start. If you want ideal logistics then you can get a room next door at hotel D’oro. Get a reservation early because it’s fills up very quickly.

B1 – Another “meet to meat” place. I’ve pulled SNLs from here successfully and have enjoyed each one of them. For W10,000 you get into a small lounge-y place that has cheap drinks and hookah. Although it has plenty of sets, it’s always packed and moving around is tough. I used to enjoy it but nowadays the sheer number of people who go there turn me off. On the other hand there’s a little bar next to it that does pretty well too.

Quick Recap

Okay! That’s about it! Itaewon is no longer just the “home away from home”. Nowadays it’s perfect ‘sarging’ grounds and filled with pre-qualified women who are more into foreigners than anywhere else in Seoul.

Just be careful not to accidently open trannies unless that’s your thing!

I was recently asked by Diablo from the Korea Lair to break down Korean women and Taiwanese women. Here are his questions:

Hola Latinstylez, como estas? I got a question, how do T-girls square up against K-girls in terms of how easy it is to score them, possibility of getting SDLs or SNLs, logistics, etc. I’m planning a trip to Taiwan on Lunar New Year, and I’d like to see what’s the biz over there. Thanks for the help. Any advice or suggestions on Taiwan, sightseeing and sarging would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Diablo

Hope you enjoy the post.

As far as your question, I think there are some differences between Taiwanese girls and Korean girls. I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s its”easier” to sarge in Taiwan, but there are definitely some positives in Taiwan. There are also some disadvantages which I will mention.

1. The girls tend to speak better English-

This was witnessed when I got over a paragraph in a text messages and also having long conversations while on Day 2′s. I am not saying that every girl in Taiwan speaks amazing English, but overall the English level is better than Korea. That’s a relief since I do not speak Chinese. I think that conversations with girls in Taiwan are more interesting. Many of the Taiwanese girls I have talked to had a lot to talk about.

2. Closing Taiwanese women-

This is a tough one since last time I was here I closed like 3 girls in the span of two weeks. The three girls I closed two of them were from online game and one of them was an SNL that I met from night game. This time around I closed one girl (from online game) in the span of three weeks, but I am still working on my pipeline of women until my departure. I would say that Taiwanese women are more passive in terms of giving you “hints” to escalate. I think Korean girls were much more forward about their feelings. For example, if they thought you were good looking they would tell you straight up. Also, if they had something on their mind I found that they would let you know. For example, the last girl I closed in Korea told me straight up that she would pay for some dates and asked if I would pay for others. I had no problem with that and respect that she would was upfront about it. I think this can be the fact that Taiwanese girls aren’t forward (more passive) with their feelings can be good and bad. Good because you can continue to escalate and not meet any resistance along the way. Bad because you kind of don’t know where you are because she hasn’t given you many IOI’s. The IOI’s in Taiwan tend to be much less which took me some time to get used to. As far as level of difficulty, I would think Taiwan would be better for foreigners because there isn’t a negative stigma towards foreigners in Taiwan like Korea. However, I still think that if you hit it hard enough in Korea you can meet those girls that are DTF with foreigners. Korea is much more of a numbers game. In Taiwan, it’s less of a numbers game. I will talk more about this in my night game analysis.

3. SNL’s-

You know my style of game is more for Day 2 closes… But, I did have an SNL from a bar on my last visit to Taiwan. Most of my closes in Korea were Day 2+… I think from night game your chances of getting an SNL are much [b]stronger in Taiwan…

4. The Night game in Taiwan

Here’s where there is the advantage factor. In Korea, I’d go out and open like 15 sets in one night and walk out of the venue with like 3 or 4 number closes. I’d get back to them and maybe I’d get a few replies. It is totally the opposite in Taiwan. I’ve been going out here consistently opening less sets and meeting girls for Day 2′s. It’s beautiful. The other night I went to this Bar called Barcode and opened 1 set… We talked for like 15 mins… The next day I already had a Day 2 lined up with her. Korea is much more challenging in the nightgame factor DEFINITELY!

5. The Daygame in Taiwan

Here’s where I rate Korea higher. I used to live in Gangnam, Seoul. I love that place so much… I would open lots of sets during the week sometimes 15 or so sets a day and I would consistently have dates lined up. This was much more effective than night game in Korea. However, in Taiwan I haven’t experienced the daygame like Korea. Gangnam had a constant influx for street, coffee shop, subway game, the bookstore, etc… In Taipei, I haven’t had that luxury. The sarge areas I’ve found are smaller and not as large as Gangnam…

For example, the coffee shops in Taipei are much smaller than the ones in Korea. If you open one set, chances are everyone in the coffee shop will see you and it will make it pointless if you want to open another set. Additionally, the bookstore Eslite has open space so if you want to open sets everyone will see you. In Korea (Kyobo Bookstore), the sections were set up so if you did open not everyone would stare at you.

I think in the future I’m going to focus more on night game in Taipei.

If you do wanna do daygame, go to Zhongxiao Dunhua (hot fashionable girls) and Main Station MRT Station (constant influx of people).

6. Text Messaging

In Korea, girls text all the time. You can see them on the subway texting their friends… I thought that the girls in Korea were much more text compliant than Taiwan. While in Korea, I would receive messages right away after meeting girls. Text compliance in Taiwan is not a good indicator if a girl is into you because many times you will receive messages later on in the day. I think people here prefer making phone calls. I talked to one of my Taiwanese pivots about it and she said that she prefers calling people…

7. Sightseeing

I am traveling around Taiwan at the moment. I will update my blog and check it out for some city reports.

Check out Taipei 101, Shida Nightmarket (Taipower Building MRT Station- also its near where the university pubs are), and Longshan Temple.

8. Nightlife

Clubs:

Luxy- Zhongxiao Dunhua

Room 18- Warner Village Area (Near 101)

Bars:

Roxy 99-This venue is awesome. The girls here are really eager to meet foreigners.

University area ( my SNL was from there and I had a Day 2 from there with a really cute chick) http://www.latinstylez.com/lr/

Brass Monkey’s- Not a bad pub/ Lots of expats but the sets are easy to open

Carnegeis- Close to Liuzhangli MRT Station

Has a Crazy Hour from 6-7PM and Happy Hour till 9PM

Ladies Night- Wednesday’s

Lounges-

Barcode- Very good lounge, but be warned it is a lot of social circle. I opened a nice set in that venue. It’s a good place to pre-game.

Overall

I think both countries are great. I think Korea is tougher than Taiwan because of the view of foreigners and the difficulty of night game there. That is not necessarily a bad thing though. I worked hard for all my closes in Korea(and also shifted into other forms of game like doing more day game) and in the long run it helped me develop into a better pick up artist.

We’re having a special guest post from the guys at Asian Dating Super Stars. As a Chinese American I know what it’s like to have that self hate when it comes to dating. I use to blame the media or culture for my lack of a social life. It wasn’t until I discovered the Pick Up Scene did I finally take my dating life into my hands. That’s why I’m glad to see guys like Ryker helping get rid of these limiting beliefs for Asian men. Take a look. He was some important things to say.

-Bolo

Many Asian men fail to get the success they desire with women and many when asked why usually attribute their lack of success to racism and the fact that they are Asian.

Just how true is this statement?

The real, honest fact is that sometimes race does something to do with it. Women do notice which race you are and what you look like but not as much as you think so. Of course there are women out there who are not into Asians, but then again, there are women out there who are into white guys, black guys and every other race on the planet.

It’s just simple human nature.

So what’s the real problem here?

The real problem is that many Asian guys have convinced themselves that the women they desire will not find them attractive.

They have assimilated this limiting belief from young, perhaps from the media stereotypes or from being raised in an overly-conservative household and having had no success from young, they are convinced that they are doomed to fail when they approach beautiful women of any race.

The sad truth is that Asian guys who think like this simply don’t allow themselves the permission to follow their biological instinct and heart to date the women they honestly desire. The pain and frustration they feel lowers their self-esteem and makes them feel worthless and asexual.

The only way out is to find mentors or shining examples of other Asian guys who have succeeded before and use them as a benchmark, to break the whole stereotype and shatter the limiting belief.

One such product that might help is a product called Asian Dating Superstars.

In it, I interview 13 of the world’s greatest and most successful Asian dating coaches who proceed to answer every single question Asian guys have about overcoming stereotypes and how Asian guys can have phenomenal success with women of any race they desire.

Such famous dating coaches like DJ Fuji, Daniel Rose of the Sex God Method, William of ABCs of Attraction, Johnny Wolf, Xavier, Troy Dizon and more reveal the exact, precise, step-by-step methods on how they overcame stereotypes and became confident, attractive men who could stroll into another place, walk up to any woman fearlessly and attract her in mere minutes.

One thing they all agree on is that it is possible for Asians to have great success with women – and all guys have to do is to follow what they have learnt and discovered and success could just be a click away.

To find out more about this product and how you can now become a better, more confident Asian man with an abundance of wonderful relationships with the women you fancy, go ahead and click the link below.

We will be adding a new section to the blog. We’ll be covering venues in some of the cities we sarge that we use and why we use them. So, if you travel to these cities, you will have a list of venues perfect for running a set or meeting women.

My first venue covered will be Rainbow Bar in Gangnam, Seoul.

Hookah lounges are good for comfort building

This venue is best used as a bounce location. It is good for kino and also for building a good atmosphere with you and your target. The hookah’s here are good and the music as well. So, bring your target and be ready to enjoy the times. It opens at 6PM and stays open pretty late.
