Before I walk into the coffee shop, I see two Asian looking girls. You know what I am thinking in the back of my mind… ” Are they Korean?” I grab my coffee and I head over in their direction. I hear them speaking and I know they are speaking Korean.

Me: Are you speaking Korean? (Thinking they only spoke English maybe a little Spanish…)
Her: Si… Then starts speaking to me in Spanish…

This was a two set. I knew right away who my target was. I made sure to talk to the friend more and sat down next to them after opening them and talking for a bit. But I can tell you this, the set HOOKED… They said “You are the only person to ever speak to us in Korean.” And they kept asking me questions about Korea, instant IOI’s etc….

Then, I asked my target in Korean if she could cook… (thanks BlueMystery) They can cook and they actually offered to cook Korean food for me at their place (Day 2.) I made sure to run some light kino on my target I sat next to her and threw out future projections for meeting up. Made sure to qualify as well… They left me their contact info and asked me for my number.

As they were about to leave, I spun them and gave them a kiss on the cheek. My target is 30 and very interested in Latin culture… Keep you posted…

1. Keep an open mind- Korea is not like sarging in any other country. There are many differences here. Trust me I came here expecting it being like home and was surprised to find out it wasn’t. Luckily, I met BlueM who helped guide me on the road here. Things are different in Korea so keep an open mind at times. You may have to deal with more mixed friends sets or girls bringing their friends on Day 2′s – worst case scenarios… You may have people stare at you- deal with it…

2. Find your areas and stick to them- I was able to find my areas in Korea and stick to them. It wasn’t easy at first, though. The main area I recommend is Hongdae. I like to have a good Day 2 logistics plan. Hongdae has what we are looking for as pick up artists. There’s this place called Bricx that is just downright amazing!!!

3. Kino escalation is different- Again, another difference from the States. Where I am from the kino escalation process is much different. When I came to Korea, I did the kiss on the cheek and did much more kino from the start. I was surprised to find the HB’s shocked I was doing it. Well, I had to change up my escalation process. Now, it is much less on the kino and more on the body language. You have to re-calibrate your game here and it takes time.

4. Know your bounce locations- This may seem like a surprise, but trust me it isn’t it. There’s a lot of guys on the field who don’t have their logistics laid out ahead of time. I was one of them. Go over the sarge ahead of time and check out the venues you will be bouncing your targets to. Trust me, it will help your sarge ten fold.

5. Have a good time- During your time adjusting to Korean culture, it can be frustrating. Keep a positive attitude and enjoy yourself. Relax and have a good time even if you have a bad day! The road is very bright just around the corner….

I get a few replies later, but one of them really sticks out so I decided to Day 2 her in Hongdae.

Background:

After finally leaving the restaurant, I head to my Day 2 late!

BlueM gives me some key advice. “LatinStylez you should meet up with her and tell her you have to drop off your bag at a hotel because you are coming from out of town.”

Coffee Shop, but a little late…

I finally arrive at the coffee shop and she’s looking cute sitting there waiting for me. She bought me a Cafe Latte while I was on my way. She has a nice outfit, cute scarf, and boots. I decided that it would be best to do some more bouncing and build more comfort with her. This would pay off at the end.

Food Bounce

She’s pretty hungry and I know a pretty cool pita place in Hongdae. This place has cool photos of Greece and stuff so I made sure to talk about traveling and her interests. She wants to open up her own Mexican restaurant! How cool….

Another target starts talking to me. She’s a vocal coach in Gangnam. She’s older, but likes to have a good time. She gives me her business card.

Mr Bond meets up with me and I introduce him to everyone. We talk a little bit more and then hit up Itaewon. We had some fun together Bond is very good with approaching and engaging the sets. We talked to some HB’s on the way to Loft.

Loft wasn’t really that good so the HB New York wants me to go to Club Volume. Normally, I would have passed and set up the Day 2, but since I got a few weeks left and never went to Volume before I took her up on her offer.

I get there and she’s waiting for me. Bond rolls in and immediately starts opening sets. I think I saw him K-close two different girls that night haha…

As for me, I stayed in my set with HB New York for a bit. She had an awesome personality and I liked talking to her. I ran some comfort stories and we had some good kino going on. I saw another HB I know and introduced them. When I was talking to her, I could tell the jealousy look in HB New York’s eyes haha…. By the way, she’s a cougar… I’ve run into a lot of them lately

Here’s the gist

I ran 4 bounces (coffee shop, food place, convenient store, and an ice cream place.) The kino was good and the vibe was right. When it came down to the last bounce to my place, she wasn’t ready.

Me: I’m going up let’s go

I took a step back then I had to come up with something quick. She tells me that next time she will go that it’s not common for girls here to go to guys houses. I know that’s a bunch of bs. I should have seeded it better. Instead, I made hints about it but wasn’t direct about going to my place. (Ran it the exact same last time, but pulled the HB to my place) I took her to a hof place near my house, and things went well from there. Ran more comfort.

I set up the day 3 for her to cook for me at my place. It’s really good running the logistics in my area.

I have another day 2 on Tuesday night in my area with a K-girl who is visiting from the States. I’ll keep you posted on that one.

I promised Leto that we would meet up. I told him I would show him one of my favorite places to sarge in Korea. Yup, the Bookstore at Jongak station.

We got to the location grabbed lunch and I immediately opened a two set. It went pretty well. My main goal with opening the first set was to get into the rhythm. I found that opening a few practice sets before really sarging can improve your game tremendously.

The set leaves and I head with Leto over to the subway station to open some sets. I end up opening a set and ask her for directions. She was pretty cool and gave me the directions. Now, I was feeling a lot better and in momentum to run my sarges.

In the bookstore, I open an HB8.5 K-Girl in the Kid’s section English books. I opened her about the books and she said “No English” I persisted in set and she ended up being very talkative. She was buying a book for her 5 year old son. It was my persistence in this set that got her to open up.

I opened a few more sets and I got one good hook. The chick was a corporate lawyer and fluent in English. I tried to do a mini bounce outside of the venue but she had to be somewhere. I made sure to timebridge. Every thing went well in this set, so I’ll have to wait and see. I took down her email since she didn’t have a phone set up.

I opened a few more then one hit me with I’m not here to make any friends. I felt that I should have come back stronger when she hit me with that. But, O well.I ran one more set on the subway and the girl was traveling and seemed really keen. The problem was I asked her stop as she was getting off. I expected to get off later and didn’t go for the quick number close. Overall, it was good to get back on the field and sarge again….
