Intro

I’ve had the discussion about the Philippines with many people. To be honest, I’ve gotten quite mixed results. Some people like it and others don’t. When I first went to the Philippines last year, I didn’t like it because I was comparing it to more developed countries. After reflecting back on my trip, I realized that it was quite an adventure different from other countries I had been to. A summary of my last trip: I went to really nice beaches, closed a hot Filipino girl I met on the beach, got burned on a motorbike, got ripped off by cab drivers, and I encountered many beggars.

The second time going to the Philippines I wanted to focus more on the positive aspects of this country. This helped me have an even more enjoyable trip than last year. It also helped that I had a friend who could show me around Manila. In this article, I lay down some of the pros and cons of the Philippines.

Pros

1. Warm Weather- It was nice to head down to the Philippines from Taiwan and feel the warmth when I got out of the airport. It felt like summer. Well, the Philippines is warm year round which is a huge plus!

2.Really nice beaches- If you want to check out the Philippines, then you gotta go to the beaches in Palawan, Boracay, or Bohol. I heard Bohol has the worlds smallest monkey that can fit in the palm of your hand.

3. Most people speak English- This is really nice since in many parts of Asia English is the main language. Filipinos use Tagalog, but most people you deal with on a daily basis can speak English. The only issue in the Philippines comes with pronunciation since I had trouble distinguishing certain words people were saying. This also helps when gaming girls because you can talk to them in English.

4. Malls- Manila and Cebu have tons of malls worth checking out. I’m not sure about the rest of the Philippines. The malls are a great place to pick up girls. If you are in Manila, head over to Greenbelt there are many nice cafes and restaurants there and a great area to meet a date. If you are in Cebu, check out Ayala Mall.

5. Cheap- It’s relatively cheap. Taxis are really cheap and jeepneys are even cheaper. I wouldn’t recommend riding the jeepneys because if your in a hurry to get somewhere they are quite slow.

Cons

1. Women- Generally, I felt that the women in Philippines weren’t that good looking. That’s not to say that there aren’t attractive women in Manila and Cebu. You just have to REALLY look for them. In Manila, I would go to Greenbelt and a club named Republiq to find more attractive women. In Cebu, I would go to Ayala Mall. Can anyone recommend some good clubs in Cebu?

2. Food- The food in the Philippines is quite international, and I was left wondering where are the Filipino restaurants? Could it be the hundreds of years of colonization has created an abundance of more Western style restaurants? On my last night, I tried Pork Adobo and it was delicious but we had to look pretty hard to find a Filipino restaurant.

3. Cabs- This is mainly a Manila issue but sometimes cab drivers can be jerks, and if your destination is close they might not drive you. My friend said if you can speak to them in some tagalog this can stop the cab drivers from taking advantage of you.

Set a goal- My … Continue reading →

I’ve been back out in the field in Taipei in January and have been sarging pretty much everyday. I have came up with a few observations as I have been modifying my game this year.

1. Set a goal- My goal the first few weeks sarging in Taipei was to open 30 sets. I wrote that down as my target and I kept to it. Whatever goal that you set try to do it everyday. I’m now going on nearly a month in Taipei and have since lowered my goal to about 20 sets based on some adjustments I made to my game. We’re always tweaking our goals so don’t feel bad about changing them.

2. Are you seeing other women?- This is something I have faced this year. Since I am out approaching women on a daily basis, I have been asked by women “Are you seeing other girls?” I told a girl that I already closed “Yes.” And then she flipped out. I sought out advice from RedpoleQ who mentioned that in Asia it’s okay to be vague. Kane Vast added that you could tell stories about “How you shouldn’t make rules in a relationship” this could be done earlier in the sarge to prevent this question from popping up. Vitality, added that it’s okay to tell girls “I’m out with a friend” or “I’m having dinner with a friend.” So don’t be explicit because it could have the girl storming out of your place.

3. Logistics are everything- Always make sure your logistics are tight. What do I mean by tight logistics? Are you staying at your Mom’s house? Do you have a place you can bring girls back to? Square away your logistics before you even start sarging trust me. It can make or break your game! In Taipei, they have DVD rooms or motels. If you guys want, I can provide some of these on here for those going to Taipei.

4. Don’t be afraid to text girls a lot. I used to think that sending out a lot of text messages to girls came off as needy. In 2012, I have noticed that I have not come off as needy by sending out lots of fun and interesting text messages to girls. They seem to value the messages I send. I make sure that my texts add value. I might bring up something that we talked about that day or something that I genuinely like about the girl.

5. Get a counter. If you’re going to be out opening lots of sets, you should invest in a counter. They aren’t expensive at all and it helps you tally your sets as you open. If you have that target of 20 sets, you will be better able to keep track of it with your counter. Keep a notebook to log the number closes that you get and remember to write down observations that you made during the sarge. This could be her hair style, dress style, or something interesting that she did.

6. Getting back to the basics- I’m going to make another post in the future about the fundamentals of game, but in 2012 I’ve been getting back to the basics. That means writing field reports and using stories and games to make my sarges more effective. I like to relate pick up to basketball and good basketball players know the basics and stick to them.

These are a few things that have improve my game in 2012. I will continue to go out there and sarge and share my insights in 2012.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Wow, it’s been so long since my last post. Hopefully I still have some readers out there. I’ve been on a hiatus working on other aspects of my life, but I plan on coming on here when I get the chance. This blog was intended to be a place where I would write about my experiences being a traveling pick up artist, but it has actually been much more than that. I have met some really great guys through this blog, and also made some connections with other well-known PUA’s.

As the New Year comes, I have some big plans in store for the 2012 year. I want to travel to many more countries, and update on my adventures there. I don’t want this to be just another “pua” blog. I would like to incorporate food and culture into the blog, and that is what I will be working on this year as I travel to new countries. I am wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and I look forward to making some posts next year. It will be good to start writing again.

Take Care All,

The world famous PUA Training, known for having great pickup artists such as Gambler and AFC Adam will be having a boot camp for expats in Gangnam, Seoul on Saturday September 17 and Sunday September 18 under its Korean branch. PUA Training Korea is run by Alexikaikos Hong, a Korean pick up artist who has learned game during his studies in London from 1999-2010. He once had trouble with girls, but in 2005, ran into PUA Training, and it changed his life, and is now a top pick up artist.

While Gambler and AFC Adam may be some of the best pickup artists in the world, they can not out-game the people of PUA Training Korea for one reason: PUA Training Korea are more familiar with Korean culture, and thus, understand Korean women better than anyone else.

This boot camp will not teach any canned routines, and instead, will focus more on teaching natural game, teaching a man how to teach his own natural charm instead of acting like someone he’s not. Each trainee will be paired with a trainer who speaks fluent English. This trainer will be one who’s character is most compatible with that of the trainee. There will hours of theory sessions, teaching a person how to show their attractive qualities. This will be followed by intense field training. This field training will include day game in the coffee shops, bookstores, and streets while night game will be in the clubs, in which the trainees will be given VIP access.

After the training, the trainee may call his trainer to wing with him. This service will be free for the first three times during the first two months after the training. He will wing with you, hook you up with girls, and give you feedback on your performance.

This bootcamp by PUA Training Korea, which is normally 1,180,000 won for Koreans, will only cost 800,000 won for foreigners. You can apply by writing an email to info@puatkorea.com. Tell them you’re interested in the boot camp, and write a bit about yourself, dating experiences, level of pickup skill, weaknesses and strengths of character, and motivation for doing this bootcamp.

Hey guys,

I apologize for taking a while to post on the blog. Things have been quite busy, but I wanted to let you in on something that has helped me when I’m out on the field. I’ve been keeping a journal with me, and it has helped me tremendously. When I first started using my journal, I would log every set that I opened.

Now, I just log all of the good sets and some facts about each girl I number closed. Trust me it will help! I open between 10-20 sets a day, and sometimes it’s hard to keep track of which girl you met on what day. There were times before when a girl would message me a week or two after meeting her then I would message her back and not know anything about her.

It’s much better to have the background info on her. I like to write down anything that interests me about her. For example, she lived in Italy for two years and speaks Italian. That would be great information to write down. When you meet her next time, you can bring it up. It also shows that you have a good memory. If you are in a foreign country, you can also write new words that you encounter when you are out in the field.

Also, I like to write down notes if she was doing anything when I met her. For example, if she was looking for a gift I would respond in the text message:

Me: Did you find a good gift for your friend? I bet you did…

How is that different from

Me: Hi, it was nice to meet you…

The first message relates to the situation and shows your target that you remembered something about her during the interaction. This message gives you more value and increases her chances of replying back to you.

Tips for the journal:

1. Make sure it’s pocket size- don’t buy a notebook size journal and carry it by hand all day!

2. Use it to your advantage- find certain things that may help you such as a good venue you came across or a systematic method of noting down your best sets of the day.

3. Reflect- after your done sarging for the day, write down something you can reflect on. Maybe you did something differently in set that could help you out next time. Bolo made a comment to me that I shouldn’t continue walking with girls after they walk away. I made sure to correct this and wrote it down in my journal as something to work on.

For the readers, do any of you use a journal in the field? What do you think are the advantages of using one?

I think of limiting beliefs as a major deterrent in developing your game. It’s always easy to make an excuse right. I’ve been in the game for a while, and you wouldn’t believe the excuses I sometimes here guys make.

1. “I don’t want to talk to her because I don’t know what to say”- Alot of guys get caught up in the opener. They think that they must have some amazing opener so they can attract the girl. Not really actually. If you have trouble deciding what to open with, just ask for the time or the directions. Make it seem natural as to the reason why you are talking to your target.

2. “What’s the point in wasting my time talking to women”- You aren’t wasting your time. Your developing a skill set, and over time you will develop relationships with women. You have to look at it as a time investment. We invest time in approaching women to reap the rewards later as our skill set improves.

3. “What if she doesn’t want to give me her number?”- I know the truth that many guys are afraid of rejection. When I first started picking up, I also felt bad if a girl wasn’t interested in me. You know what I do know? I don’t let it bother me if she doesn’t want to have further contact with me. I go out there and approach more girls because at the end of the day I will find a girl that wants to invest in our relationship.

4. “I don’t know how to talk to girls during the day.”- Many PUA’s focus on approaching at night. As a matter of fact, I specialize in day game these days for that very reason. There is less competition when you are out there during the day. Alot of guys need some beer to give them the courage to approach. When I first started approaching girls during the day, I had alot of approach anxiety. It took months and months of practice to get more comfortable approaching during the day. So my advice for this limiting belief is to get out of your shell, and just start talking to a few girls a day. Set a goal of how many women you want to approach. Start small then work towards bigger goals.

Those are a few limiting beliefs. If you can think of some more you have had or you know others have had, post them on here.

That was my opener at the bookstore near Zhongxiao Dunhua when I noticed this really cute red haired chick looking over in my direction. She had this Japanese style to her… I walked towards her, and had no idea what my opener was going to be. I opened with “Do you know where Twilight is?” She jumped at the opportunity to help me, but quickly went to get someone to help. “Oh no she’s probably going to get one of the staff to help” I thought. She came back within a few minutes and told me “follow me.” She directed me to an English section with books like The Godfather. I asked her if she read it, and she told me she didn’t. I found out she just finished a job interview, and I asked her if she had any plans for the rest of the day. She said “I’m free the rest of the day.” That let me know a major thing. Insta-dating probably wouldn’t be difficult since she wasn’t busy. “Let’s go grab some lunch downstairs” I told her. “Ok” she said.

We went downstairs to this Japanese place and looked at the menu. Turned out HB J-Style (26 years old) was from Kaohsiung and also studied Japanese. She was very interested in Japanese fashion. The two of us looked at different restaurants then we sat down for a minute. I looked at my phone and noticed that Bolo called. I gave him a call back right away, and found out that he had a package for me that I needed to mail out. HB J-Style offered to help out so we went over to Bolo’s place to pick up the stuff I needed to get. I thought to myself “Wow this girl is really friendly doing this for a stranger.”

Afterwards, we went over to mail out the package. I had already seeded dinner near my place since she was hungry. We took the MRT to my station which was Liuzhangli. I asked her “What do you want Western food or local food?” “Western food” she said. “I know just the spot” I told her. We walked over to Carnegie’s which was in the area. I actually forgot to get there so we had to walk back and forth for a little.

Carnegie’s is a nice chill pub to take girls too. I like to go there when I have a craving for Western food. HB J style said “It’s been a long time since I’ve had Western food so I’m excited about it.” I ordered us two drinks a Corona for my target and a San Miguel for me. For dinner, we ordered a Shepard Pie and Fish N Chips. During dinner, I found out that she had a boyfriend for one month. But, something told me inside to stick with it. I began seeding my place to watch movies and she mentioned how she had to get up early tomorrow for her first day on the job. “Wait, what time do you need to be home?” I asked her. She told me “Maybe 1AM or earlier than that if I’m tired.” We split the bill then left the venue.

We walked towards my place and she mentioned she was tired, but it looked like she was going to come over. I didn’t kino too much, but I did notice she was a bit resistant to my kino. Could that be a bad sign? We arrived to my place, and took the elevator up. She said something in Japanese before entering my place. We took off our shoes and went inside. Here’s where things get interesting. To be honest with you, I didn’t know if I would be able to close this chick tonight. The outcome was a bit of a surprise, and I’m going to let you in on what happened.

She looked around my place then sat down on my mattress, and took off her socks. One thing I learned from a previous LR, was that if a girl goes for the bed/mattress first stay in that spot. That is just what I did. I f**** things up by escalating too quickly instead of easing off. I touched her a bit, but she didn’t seem like she was into the kino. I put some music on my computer and later she asked me questions like “Do you always sleep with girls on the first night?” I responded with “I’ve slept with other girls before on the same night, but I had a connection with them. I think a connection can be formed quite early when meeting someone. I usually know pretty early when I’m interested in a girl.” She mentioned how she’s Christian and doesn’t do that kind of stuff anymore.

Anymore was the key word that let me know she’s probably slept with other guys on the same night before. She mentioned how she was ending her relationship with a guy while dating this current guy. I asked her when was the last time she’s had sex which was two days ago. I rolled out strawberry fields to frame her as sexual. I told her that “I’m a keeper of secrets and a story about it” to diffuse her bf talk. I framed myself as a “secret guy” then she laughed about it. The secret guy was used so that she can see our experience as fun… I did all of these things which helped me lead into sex. To be honest with you, I didn’t think this girl was down at the beginning of the sarge. She was very resistant to my kino.

What told me that she was DTF? It was the fact that she was lying down on my bed, and not leaving. I remember back in Korea when I thought this girl wasn’t keen because she kept resisting my advances. RPQ told me “She’s staying the night right?” she’s obviously keen. He said something to the extent of that. Anyways, HB J-style was still at my place and pretending to sleep on my mattress.

I cuddled under the blankets with her then started to kiss around her neck and lips. She slowly warmed up and before you know it she took off her pants. I turned off the lights, and we made out a bit more. She then asked me the golden question “Do you have a condom?” “Yes” I told her. I had grabbed one earlier. Eventually, I took off her top/bra then things lead into sex smoothly. When I took off her panties, she was very wet…

Wow is all I can say… Things were going against me here. She wasn’t really in the mood for sex, she had a boyfriend, and she claimed she didn’t do this kind of stuff anymore. However, I managed to close based on learning from previous experiences. Take this LR as an example that you can go out there and make s*** happen.

I wanted to check out some of the recommended restaurants in Fukuoka, and I decided to try out the ramen. I heard from many people that the ramen in Fukuoka is worth trying. I was thinking about going to this fast food spot, but I decided I better try the ramen.

I went over to this popular restaurant named Ippudo Sannoten near the hostel. It was on the staff list of restaurants to check out. The restaurant is near Sinnou park make sure to ask for a map from the hostel. It’s about a 10 minute walk. When you walk outside of the hostel, make a left then keep going down until you see a big intersection. Look across the street and you will see the restaurant. The sign to the place is made out of wood.

Once you go inside, you will be greeted by the staff. Take a seat. There are plenty of chairs and the restaurant has an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs in action. One of the cooks, handed me a Japanese menu then another cook came over and gave me an English menu. Even if you get the Japanese menu, it has pictures on it. The benefit of the English menu is that it has the descriptions of the different types of ramen.

For a bowl of ramen, it’s going to run you around 8,000 yen. I gave it careful consideration and chose the Akamaru Modern. While I was waiting for my food, I tried the delicious side dish which were red bean sprouts. They also gave me some tea to go along my meal.

When my big red bowl of noodles arrived, I was ecstatic. I went over to grab my camera and took a picture. I then realized I was letting the food get cold so I took my first bite. The noodles were thin and it was garnished with fatty pork and scallions. It was absolutely delicious. The broth was amazing and had a meaty and smoky flavor to it.

The best part of all was that I could slurp the noodles, and no one thought it was rude. It’s okay to slurp your noodles in Japan. I finished the entire bowl of noodles then I went to pay. The cooks blurted out something in Japanese, and I paid for my meal. I said “it was excellent” with a thumbs up to the employee working there. He said “thank you.” I’m sure they get a lot of foreign customers there as it’s a delicious restaurant!

They also serve: mentaiko rice and manten gyoza (pan fried dumplings).

Hours of Operation: 11AM-1AM

Initial Sarge:

This was one of my last sets of the day as I was getting out of my subway. I noticed this really cute girl with long dark hair waiting for her subway. I asked her about how to get to the brown line, and she said “Here let me walk you.” Off we were to the brown line. What I liked about her was that she bt spiked well, and her English was also good. I think wearing the suit today gave me added value since she asked me “Are you here on business?” Like Bolo mentioned “The suit demands respect.” I missed my train purposely so I could chat with HB Engineering more. During that time, I set up a timebridge for this weekend to meet up with her. No msn’s and no business cards were given. It was just a phone number. “Alas I numberclosed” I thought to myself…

Sidenote- She lived in Australia for two years and had a bit of an Aussie accent.

Day 2

We set up the meet for today @ 4PM and I chatted with her during the week via MSN. I reconfirmed with her today for the meet, and it was on. When I saw her, I was like “Yes” this girl is cute. She was wearing a pretty white dress and long black stockings. That’s why I love day game because it gives you the best choice of women and you are also sober. No beer googles going on! As far as a logistical game plan, I didn’t really have one. That showed when I met her and she asked me where are we going to go and I hesitated saying “Ughh we can go to this area or another area…” She even asked me “Are you nervous?” I rebounded by picking an area for us to go.

The first thing I noticed was that she grabbed my arm. This has always been a good sign for me when a girl initiates the kino. Any others with this experience? We walked for a bit down this side street near my place, and I came across a nice cafe. We went inside and ordered some sandwiches and coffee. I found out that she was 29 and only had long-term relationships. Her longest relationship had been eight years and she also hadn’t been on a date for over a year. Her reasoning was that she worked too much. Regardless, she was out to meet me so I didn’t let that bother me.

Another thing, she had a curfew of 12AM. Her parents were the traditional/strict type she mentioned. You would think that a girl being 29 would not have a curfew, but that wasn’t the case. We chilled in the coffee shop for a bit, and she was even laying on my shoulder. The seat I got was in the front where two people could sit down together. This makes it better for kino since you don’t have to sit across from each other. She took off her shoes and was laying on my shoulder again then I told her “Let’s go outside.” She went to the bathroom and paid the bill then we were off. I had seeded my place for movies and she showed no resistance in coming to my place.

There was one last stop to the convenience store to grab us two beers which she also paid for. She mentioned she wasn’t much of a drinker and that was evident when her face was turning red after half a beer. We took the elevator up to my place. We sat down on the couch and I showed her some pictures that I printed from my travels. It’s good to incorporate pictures because you can add a story element with each one.

I threw on a travel video with Anthony Bourdain. After a bit of time watching it, I went for the k close while shod to have physical pictures because you can tell a story with each one. The kino was like it was from the cafe. I suggested watching a travel video at my place. After the video, she was laying on my shoulders. There was no resistance, and she was actually a great kisser. She had very nice lips!

I continued to make out then go back to the show a few times. I asked her about how many relationships she had and she told me four. Finally, she told me “It’s been a long time.” Referring to the last time she had sex. The interesting thing is that I didn’t even have to mention sex. She knew what it was leading to from there, and it was just a matter of leading on my part. I DID NOT get any resistance from her. I passionately started making out with her and took off her dress then she took off my shirt. She went to the bathroom shortly after then that’s when I moved to the mattress which was next to the couch.. It was more making out then I progressed to f-closing. It was my fault for not defining the context of the relationship because she asked me “Are we dating?” during sex. I told her “Yes.” I will need to be more clear about defining the relationship with girls I am sarging during Phase 2. We took a shower afterwards.

What I liked about this girl was that I was REALLY attracted to her. She had a very nice body and cute face. It’s good to go after girls that are 8′s or higher because when you are sarging them it makes your game stronger. I liked how she paid for everything and had a motherly nature about her. When we went to the night market later, she used tissue to clean my hands after I ate the food. We hung out till a little bit after her curfew then I got her on a cab home. I do plan on seeing this girl again. She’s a KEEPER
